I think everyone should understand that ENGLISH is the International language and if you can't speak and understand ENGLISH you cannot get an unrestricted license to be a pilot in this country. All air traffic controllers in other countries have to speak and understand it as well. It's a rule the FAA enforces too. I taught a helicopter co-pilot for PEMEX, the only Mexican oil company, he spoke very little english and I speak no spanish. It was fun to say the least. He understands more english than I understand spanish.
He got his commercial helicopter license but was restricted to operating in spanish speaking countries.
So yes the government does prefer a particular language by law. ENGLISH.
I really don't understand why we don't just take over Mexico. Their political system is like many of the countires we attack regularly. To easy I suppose.
The illegals could stay home and we would get all their oil.

LOL you mean like the one they fly at us as they come here illegally, disrespecting our laws and culture? That’s when I say why not give as good as you get.
And just think how much money would stop being wasted if we didn’t have everything in numerous languages. Save a heck of a lot of trees, and frustration having to wait forever for the Spanish part of the recording to finish before you got to hit 1 for English. LOL And the benefits to the school budgets if they could eliminate those ESL classes and put the money back into the programs that were lost because of it. Lots of benefits to only having the one language catered to.
Professor, I have told a lot of people that I only speak American, or yank. LOL NOT the king’s english.
I think the US would be much better off WITHOUT unsecured borders. Again, we would be saving a hell of a lot of money if we weren’t supporting a bunch of illegal invaders leaching off our support systems and such, or having to house and feed the few criminal ones that we do catch in already over crowded jails.

the largest ethnic group in america is germans so why should we speak english?
if not german, why not cherokee or navaho language, the two largest native groups.
better yet, u should learn to speak chinese to prepare for the economic future. the canadian dollar has or is coming close to surpassing the american dollar. china is going to line up its money with the euro instead of the dollar.
why do we get people with accents we can't understand when we call for customer assistance? cause while americans are getting angry at the mexicans doing odd jobs cheaply; top jobs, blue and white collar jobs, ITT related computer jobs are being shipped by ur rich bosses out of the country to india. i guess thats preferable, they don't immigrate but they do ur jobs and get ur pay. yea, way to go.
well a job is a job, maybe the anti-mexican folks want to kiss well paying jobs good-bye and work building a wall (and keep us in!)
the "white history month" is funny. EVERY bit of history they teach in the schools is white history -- history as it happened to white people.
