The only real difference is that if you choose to, you can feel more secure about being yourself and not what you think someone wants you to be. Online allows you to do that without many hinderances. You don't need to drink to gather courage to speak to someone here. You can be yourself, and if people don't like you for who you are, then you can block them or tell them to piss off All of us that are here trying to find a good relationship are tired of the same old meeting places to meet people. As well as to expand our horizons to different possibilities that were just not present before. You have about the same chance of meeting someone good here, but the difference is that it does not cost you a night a drinking to do so. Be cautious but if I were you I would at least attempt to take a chance, otherwise you will never find out. It's always better to at least try to meet someone and find out he is a punk, then not try and always wonder. Just whatever you do, don't live with regret. I've winked at and emailed a lot of people I was interested in and got nothing in return. I get a lot of emails from some very nice people but they are either too far away or not my type. Tru is an above average lady here, she's my friend as well, wish she was closer we could be even better friends......
