That reminds me of Nitzche's theory on puppy scratches in 1800's Germany, don't you agree, hiatis.

Funny edd, because for me it triggered the delightful memory of that study on post communist politics in regards to Romania and the velvet restoration...oh good times, good times

Luv, I never looked at it that way. Romania always seems to get put on the backburner in today's struggles with the Middle Eastern countries. I must refocus my attention to the early history of the large city versus the existence of personal health in the Pre-Industrial Revolution era.

Well edd, I must add that given this relative tolerance and the supply of commentary-namely through the branching of the traditional and cultural pressures , the natural outlet for the more enterprising members of the groups would be to seek new venues in the scientific revolution of the 17th century. Of course, I could be way off lol

No you are not way off! It is evident that when the cotton mill was re-established that the need for more de-selection of the printing press was also established in the modern world. It is highly unlikely that the seas would overflow after this assumption, but stranger things have happened.

That is basicly what Plato learned from Socrates. In Ancient Greek Times, it was normal for the women to watch from afar, the grecko wrestling. I kid you not, when the time for courting came near, everyone discussed the days of the seas parting in a then unknown "Old Testament". Who are we to judge, though?

The women were not permitted to watch at all if you remember correctly. That was forbidden. The deconstruction of the economic and social structures with the strict class hierarchy was forgotten and old major settlements were abandoned thus leading to artifacts their labor produced-beautiful works of nature.

Wrong you are Jody. The women were allowed to watch so that they had some input in the choosing of their husband. As I said, it was from afar. In ancient Greece, women were considered second class citizens, so they had some say in their lives, unlike most other cultures. You, on the other hand, are first class in my book (I am not greek, just married one).
