The Government is run by special interest groups..the president is just a puppet. And as far as the election..its already been decided..Hillary has already bought the White House..maybe she will bring back all the things she stole when she and Bill left.
I would love to see Ron Paul win but he doesnt stand a chance. I have lost all hope in the Presidental Elections..I wouldnt give anything to any one of the people running..they are all crooks and that is sad to say.

very poetic frazing, I admire how you try to twist the plots of mice and men. Lets look at some of these things you talk about. First I do not support Rudy no where on this tread have I. I think he has some personal problems himself.
Second lets look at china shall we. Former President Clinton with the swipe of his pen gave most favored nation trading status to china in exchange for campaigne contrabutions funneled through a company in California and is it interesting enough that Hillary is now dealing with chinese criminals herself. Amazing that Hillary is a third cousin to the Walton family and she sat on the board of Walmart and which company jumped on the china cheaper products wagon first lets seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. By the way no president before him gave that to them because of their human rights record. Oh by the way Mrs. Barack Osama Obama resigned just early this year from her seat on the board of Walmart .
Let look at willy as the power trip person. Let see he uses his postion of power to saduce many women for his pleasure and that is his fault no one else's.
Let's also look at this supposed everyone hates america story. First of all Austrailla over whelmingly revoted in their pro american president who believes in fighting the war on terror. Canada voted in a new president who is more freindly with the U.S., Germany voted in a new Chancellar who ran on better relations with the U.S., France who voted in a new president who whole platform was conservative and pro Bush and pro U.S. was elected all the time while the left wing news media reports that they all hate us especially the French and get thier cool aid drinking viewers to believe it.
Bush will go down in history as the president who deceided to take on terrorism instead of burrying his head in the sand.

So in response to the previous posting man.....Armies can and do defeat unbeatable armies and untakable strong holds....the ONLY way that I am aware of to deal with guerilla tactics is to let the locals (Who can tell the difference) deal with them. Short of exterminating huge segments of populations enmasse....guerilla tactics will outlast regimented military tactics.
I just really wish we could get the great and almighty GW to read the Art of War.

Krupa that is why he has generals and oh by the way in case it has not been in any place you get your news the Iraqis are turning on Al Queda. The former insuregents have switched sides and are fighing Al Queda and helping the U.S. .
I know this kills you. The different capital cities including Bhagdad have been cleared of Al Queda. Oh that is right they were never there, never mind.

Krupa.. you are correct. let's hope the masses over there will become educated and see what's happening to them. I believe many will start fighting those 'guerilla' fighters over there.

LOL it is funny how the liberals say there was never Al Queda or terrorist in Iraq then they also say that if they would get the people to turn on them that it would be easier to defeat them so what is it Either they are there or not ya can't have it both ways

Saddam held them and other powers in the region in check.....That local authority has been replaced by regional leaders and military personel who are no longer under forcible loyalties....sure he was a homicidal maniac.....but he kept a lot of people and groups in check....now it is a free for all and the locals know that eventually America/UN will leave....before we only had to deal with a sadist with a non-nuclear military....now we deal with individual groups controlled by the mullahs of different religious yet moslem sects.....now we got to deal with a constantly changing militant heirarchy.....If you believe it is cut and dried and so very easy to win....send your sons and daughters....send your neighbors... send your friends...send strangers......
I simply have a different opinion. I would not send another American soul to that 'nam.

Bush and his roundtable of bandits will go down in history as the most selfish, self centered, egotistical and power hungry.
I will be proud of him (Bush) or any leader for taking on any issue so long as he is honest, direct and non-partisan about it.
Look at the latest that has come out of this ill-fated war: Now we hear from Scott McClellan, his most trusted Press secretary, that he (Bush) asked him to lie to cover up the outing of a CIA operative. My friend, the conspiracy is far deeper than you think.
Now I must hoop and holla over this surge? I will not. Since the surge almost 1000 Americans have died, and for what? To quell a growing civil war in a country we have no business to be in. Keep our young soldiers here; Keep our money here; Keep our interests here. We would be far better country on many fronts if we had done just that. Mission Accomplished? The man has been living in a fantasy world. There is no surge. There just continues to be wasted lives and wasted money and wasted resources.

Yes cabbie I was 4 when viet nam ended "officially"......according to the numbers..that would put you at 13 when it ended.....However I am one of those people who gather as much knowledge from as many scources as possible before formulating an opinion. My opinion is just that....my opinion. I do have quite a bit of real world military and martial experience as well.

i'm afraid, like vietnam, our military leaders in iraq have their hands tied and cannot finish what they've started. I do not care what you say, you cannot run this thing from an armchair. Those we chose to put in charge in iraq, need to be in charge and get it done. Tiptoeing by those in Washington, pulling the puppet strings of our troops in the field will just cause more casualties. Those people in iraq seem to be putting the harness on the teams , police and military, for themselves now. I'm sure they are brave men and women to fight those who threatened their families in the region if they do. The more the militants are put down, the easier it is for those brainwashed by the militants in the past to take charge.
I do not have the knowledge most of you seem to have on ole rudy, but the sucker is winning some pretty impressive support as he makes his rounds campaigning. He might have a "Hoover" squad gathering dirt on those supporting him in advance, who knows.
peace....don't be hatin'
happy thanksgiving everyone.

I have to agree with Jay about the Clintons. They're just as scummy as the Bushes. There is no way in hell I would support Hillary as President, and not because she's a woman. She would do nothing more than work to further the criminal enterprise our country has been governed by since Bush Sr. took office.
Ron Paul is the only Presidential candidate that has a bit of sense. I seriously hope that if he doesn't get the Republian nomination that he runs as an Independent. I think he could have a decent shot at it, if you look at the amount of money he's gaining from campaign contributions.
If he get's in office, all troops pulled out of Iraq, borders secured, and the IRS is brought under control. Man I love those ideas. A government that doesn't buck the constitution, but instead is ruled by it, respects it, and SERVES it's people. Novel concept.
See Jay, there are alot of things you and I can agree on it seems
