are you saying that when you actually show up they come right out and say "i've changed my mind"? How many times has this happened? Or is it a one time occurance? Because if it has happened more than once, then it's got to be something you've changed from the time you talked to the time you go out... is your picture accurate?
Just trying to get an idea... not trying to offend you or anyone...

well i dont know my self im 2 for 23 dates for the last year ill see them couple hours before tell them im gonna go clean up n b back when i show up they changed there mind i think ladies just say that to get ur hope up or it seems that way

So then what happens in that couple of hours before you go clean up? Cuz i just don't believe that all of these girls are doing it for nothing... Or at least it would take alot to be that uncaring... i would come right out and tell you that i didn't feel like continuing the evening.

See them for a couple of hours, then tell them you are going to go and get cleaned up and will be back, then you are surprised when they don't show back up? Why not try something different since that approach is not working, and show up clean in the first meeting? Try putting a shirt on too, that might help?

Sorry, maybe i am having a blonde day but.......this doesn't make sense. If you are going to meet someone, then you show up fresh and clean, nicely dressed right? The part that does not make sense is seeing them for a couple of hours, Then tell them your gonna go get cleaned up? Not sure of this? I mean where do you meet them first? Help me out her to understand this one..........

you're 45 and have long hair is that your current picture on your site--perhaps get that haircut and try to look 45 not 21 or even my age--which is 55--women our age are looking for something to forget who they were with in the past---and if you are there to meet them in person are you getting a no show where you decided to meet at a planned location-( possibly they saw you but decided in person to change their minds unfairly which makes them people that judge only the cover of a book and not even risk what you're made of inside)-if that is happening some of the other posters here have given you good advice too...

At least you man up enough to ask them out my friend. I don't really understand the whole "go get cleaned up" scenario, but good luck to you. Next time you ask a girl out, set it for another day so you have time to get cleaned up without having anyone wait.
"I'll pick you up at 6 and we can go grab a bite."
I am just not sure what your situation is.

ill stop by on my way home from work to say hi n c if were still on for the night or call them to see if were still gonna meet id have to say most of the time they dont shown they set the meeting place not me dinner maybe movie dont happen i eat by myaelf alot see movies too just cant seem to get anywhere

i dont drink that often n not befor i go out drinking might come after dinner or movie if they would to stop n have s few but i drive so dont really drink when driving

Sorry Hotrod, but man, if you like your hair long, aren't "cleaned up", and then wonder why your date bails on you, then there might be a clue here. I'm sure you're a great guy, but people are visual creatures..you gotta do the best with the package you have when you meet someone for the first time.
