I'm currently fighting a head cold, been treating it at home for almost a week now, still no results. So does anyone have any home remedies that may make me feel better, at this point I don't care how crazy they sound just as long as I feel better. Cause right now I feel like someone hit me in the face with a hammer!

You probably have a sinus infection. Don't drink or eat any milk products, it thickens the mucus! Drink alot of water and eat spicey foods itwillhelpdrain you, keep blowing the snot out it will clear up! Put a pot of water on the stove keep the air moist! It will help you breath! But if it is BROWN AND BLOODY IT HAS GONE TOO FAR AND YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE DOCTOR! Eat alot your body is fighting something and just sleep it off!

A realy good home remedie is Hot Camamille tea, and eat something with lots of garlic... Guranteed to work! Your breath may not smell so good, but you'll definately breath better....

Sounds like a sinus infection the hammer told me that. Hot steam shower and stay in there as long as you can to breath the steam hopefully this will open your head. Or you can boil water on the stove remove from heat and place a towel over your head and the pot of hot water and breath in the steam same affect as above. Saline nasal spray is good for your nose maybe help get it running again. Saline is cheap and at any store. Girl I feel for you I have had the very thing you have and it is not pleasant in any way shape or form.

If it is a sinus infection, this is what the doctor told me to do........sleep upright in a recliner if you lay down your head is just gonna fill back up, take asprin along with some sudafed one for the pain the other is to help clear out your sinuses, use nose spray to loosen up the mucas and if you have a vapor machine use it.......hopefully this will work for you.

go to a hot tub party, strip butt nekkid and get in..you will stay in long enough to soak up some of that steam and clear your head..and maybe the butt nekkid part will be catchy!!

Sorry....if you have a true sinus infection, its time for antibodics. Ibuprophen will help relieve the swelling and irritation, allowing the sinus to drain. Also, remember your ears, and the crap draining down your throat can infect your lungs...and on, and on it goes...
Whiskey will help to dry up mucous membranes...thus the hot toddie comes into play, just not ole wives tale....can also mix the honey, lemon, whiskey and take from a spoon OR you can make a tea. If you have an irritated throat, the honey will sooth it too. IF your brave...shave some fresh ginger and add it, or fresh garlic...even both. Another trick...take some toast, butter it...add fresh ginger, garlic and smooth (mix) honey with it...breath may not be great...but it keeps others back and prevents spread of germs....lol!! Also increase eating onions too...hey, cream cheese and onion, and you have finger sandwiches...lol. Google, google...there are sites to be found.
If all else fails, or your weak at stomach or nose...advil cold and sinus...my doctor says best OTC med there is for this type of problem....

Never heard of radishes before...but I guess if the radish was "hot" it might open your sinuses up...lol. Next time try ginger...ole hispanic cure all.

Well hope you guys missed me. I've been under the weather with this stuff again. I felt better then the head cold went to my chest, and now I can't talk. Work sent me home early and the doctor can't see me till tomorrow, but if I bring in a doctors note I get paid for today and tomorrow.
