Has any one been in a relationship that started out so good and all of a sudden it went to HELL without any warning or signs that it was going to happen?

Yup...
I started getting comfortable with someone about a year ago.. Good communication, I trusted her.. Mutual attraction.. All seemed right.. A week after she confessed some serious interest, she dropped off the face of the earth without a word, just before valentines day..... No idea why...
Howdy, Loving... small world..

Yes I was ingaged, 2 children were together for 5 years and she was everything to me and poof she was gone living with someone else. I guess I was to nice and let her have to much space. OH WELL, she tells me she knows she messed up and regrets it now. OH YHA she is single now.

Read the book 'Blink', it makes for a very interesting read and delves into the subtle body language that is involved in relationships. Sometimes the clues are there, you just may not know the language that they are being communicated to you.

I work with mostly men and when they (not all, but alot...don't mean to stereotype) say that they had no clue that their wife wanted out of their marriage...I don't get it.
I ask if they seen any signs and they say no, NONE. Now I don't know if this is a man thing or what, but all I can conclude is that Women are from Mars and Men are from Venus...maybe the men aren't hearing the women when they say "we need to talk" when they really mean it. Maybe they/we say it too much and the men get sick of hearing it...like crying wolf...I don't know. Just food for thought here.???

Yes, I certainly have and had the hardest time getting over that... not sure why... especially since it was probably the shortest relationship in the books for me...just couldnt let go!

The title of this thread reminds me of one of the poems I wrote last year..
Regrets
How can something that seemed so right
come to an end this winter night.
If letting me go is what you've been trying,
Explain to me then, why are you the only one crying?
He looked into my eyes and gently said
"Because I know what I'm throwing away".
"Turning my back on you tonight very much upsets
as I can feel the fear of for ever having regrets".

Sometimes its because the significant other was not all there. Or the relationship became sour!! Sometimes people get scarred and they rather run than get married or continue the relationship?
