The saying :

There was once a fellow that jumped off a ten story building and people heard him say, as he passed each floor ~ " So far, so good ! "

Glad you liked it; it cracks me up, everytime I get to tell that story.

Heather may not know what Huevos Rancheros is, you may have to tell her; but since she is Meat & tators gal, she'll probably like it.

Maybe when Klassy and/or Stella get up, they'll bring us some hot, buttered cinnamon rolls for dessert; how's that sound to yall ? Neither of you two could possibly be on a diet.

Well, breakfast is ready and I'm eating my biscuits and gravy now. I'll have to save room for one of those cinnamon rolls, you say they are pretty good, huh? I saw Stella was up but just hasn't stumbled in yet.

You know it HAS been a long time since I had waffles. That sounds like a great idea Tex! My favorites are the Belgian waffles with lots of strawberry and whipped cream on top. Yum. I know you don't mind strawberry preserves on your toast, but how do you take your waffles?

I just realized it has possibly been 10 years or so since I had that for breakfast. I'm going to have to keep you around. =) Though I guess that means I will need to start exercising if I'm going to be eating so well every morning.

What are your plans for today?

Your favorite is also mine, but I try to split the waffle and put lots of Maple syrup on half, strawberries & whipped cream on the other half. Best of both worlds, don't you know ? LOL

You'll be fine, dear; all things in moderation. We just have to watch how much we eat of the things we like to keep in moderately good shape, don't we ?

Thanks for saying such nice things; you are too kind.

As for today, I've volunteered to take a friend to the hospital as she broke her ankle last week and they are going to re-break it and set it with pins. Yucky stuff, but she is a nice lady and needs someone to help her.

After that, depending on how long it takes til she gets out; I've got Christmas and grocery shopping to do; How about you ? Any plans ?

I like the idea of splitting the waffle and getting the best of both worlds! Why didn't I think of that?

I may have a big trip to Australia in the works, and want to look good in a bikini. Doesn't that just sound funny to think about, given the snow on the ground!

(oops - deleted where I was going by accident)
