I am definitely seeking a realationship. But, when you actually say that your interested in them, they back away and play games. I am 36yrs old and I will be 37 in May. I don't have time for games. I want someone to get to know me for me and I haven't found that person yet. I feel that I am a good looking black women. well guess what ya'll I'm 42 and yes it is getting harder to find a GOOD man at my age but I'm not going to stop looking. Alot of guys do want sex on the first date, dont mean you have to give it.. if you dont want it... I can find men all day long but they are broke ( sory but I suproted a few in my day) Or in trouble with the law or into drinking more then a life, or into drugs... want no part of that... but I think someone is out thier, I just havent run into them yet. in the mean time I just live my life

When one is your age, it is a lot easier. When you get older like myself, it is more difficult.
We are set in our ways.
Gravity has kicked in.
Most have family responsibilities.
Many have unhappy baggage.
To many unmarried people have babies out of wedlock.
Etc, etc, etc.
As I have said before, I think our hearts think we are still in our 20's, and people our age set their expectations to high for their ages.
Young people just need to give themselves a little time. They need to get themselves together so they have something to offer the other person except 'baggage'.
I think when young people have to many emotional ties [boyfriends/girlfriends] they get burned out. Many by the time they are 25, have had more relationships than fingers and toes.
Oh well, just my 2 cents

I do believe that there is alot of the window shopping going on but the reason I feel that is because men do only look at the outside of a person instead of getting to know them and looking inside to find the true features. I think everyone on here is here because they are "looking" for something. A quickie in the bathroom, a full one night stand, a week, a month or a life time. It just finding that "one" to fulfill those dreams.
I am looking. For the one who can be my best friend, my buddy, my lover. That doesn't necessarily mean it will all be accomplished overnight, in the next month or two or even 10 years down the road, but that is the ultimate desire for all of us i think. We weren't made to be solitary creatures.
Now how we get to that "forever" point will take some of us a lot longer than others. For some of us, we meet "the one" and know it instantly. Others you take your time, you let the feelings grow, mature and the decide. There is no wrong or right way to make this choice, but it has to be accomplished in your own time and sadly, sometimes finding the right person who has the same time line as you is tough.

While I'm looking for a real relationship I have to admit that I'm guilty of window shopping. I'd say that 95% of my messages are from guys that are too far away, too young/old, or too creepy. I have met and dated several hot men but when you really get to know them and their true colors come out...they are ugly. Same goes for women. I have met several women that I think man shes beautiful, wish I looked like her, but as soon as she opens her mouth....ugly.
