I like both, but not a too "pretty" (bordering on feminine) face...I like handsome with a rugged edge, like he's actually been in a scrap before (and handled it well)...a big back and broad shoulders, doesn't have to be 6-pack abs, but he should easily be able to see his manhood and feet from a standing position.

I used to run track in high school and I coached little league soccer when I became and adult. In other words, I was/am a runner. I am more lithe and compact. I have an athletic/slender body. I have no gut, but I have very strong legs and very strong upper body strength.
I guess that leaves me out of the loop.

He is right on most of this. And I have to say this:
Dude, I dont know how old you are, but I think I can speak for most of us. You included if what I have to say is in your range of age.

Its a shame ain't it. People wonder about me. They wonder after eight years that I have been divorced, why I don't date. I don't need that kind of shit again. It was bad enough the first time.
Now, don't get me wrong. A good ole country girl or a good ole city girl could change my mind in a nano second.
Here is my thing. You know I don't care about womens lib, I don't care about mens problems with women or womens problems with men. One way or the other, we all are going to die. Now, how you choose to live your life before that happens is the important thing. Its too freakin late to admit you are wrong when you are breathing your last breath.
In everything I have ever done to find perfection, whether it be my art, my job, my kids, my life or whatever...........I have never found it. What I have found in that search is that my drive to be the best I can be involved situations that bring the best out of me. That usually means working with something or someone that is just as imperfect as me. And together we/I reach the point of the best we could do. And usually that brings about the idea of perfection that I had in mind in the first place.

Ladyvirtue123, it's true, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. When i was young i was solid. Then as the years passed buy i grew to a nice BIG 311pounds. Now for personal reasons i have droped down to 240pounds and yes i do lift weight. As far charater, i was always oneand you can and a smart a** to the list. But a** i grew older, the knowledge and experiance i've gain, made me confidant. I no longer saw the need to be cocky, which came off as arrogant. And the fact that i let myself grow that big, made me humble.

In my own opinion, "perfect" just means "perfect for me" where a man is concerned. If I expected perfection, then who's to say he wouldn't also? I can't live up to those expectations. But I CAN be "perfect for him."
