How do the people on this forum handle long distance relationships?
What do you consider a long distance relationship. How far away would your potential partner have to be before you considered it a long distance relationship?

Well Chucky If someone was here just as a friend for me I would say hundreds of miles away but for me I am not looking for a long distance relationship because I like to meet the guy face to face and see if there is a connection rather then communicating by phone or chatting online for months. But lol there may always be a first time.

That makes sense January. I do understand your thinking there.
What do you consider long distance? I drive a couple hours one way to job sites sometimes, so that does not seem that far to me. Others seem to think that an hour away is way to far.
Personally, I feel that a four hour drive one way on for a weekend or a four hour plane flight is not too far for a budding relationship. Interested in how others feel.

For me anything more then 4 hours away would be considered long distance I am not saying that we spend 24/7 with each other but at least weekends to share with one another.

I'm all about convience, so I would catagorize a long distance relationship being 1 or more hours. If I'm dating someone then I'd like to be able to see them often, and I wouldn't want to drive very far to do it, just not worth it to me.

Well it depends.
If it's a booty call, it better be close. Real close.... Say about 5 minutes!
(Ducking from the inference that I am a male pig. I've been called worse!)
Here's the way I really look at this difficult question ---> ~~Q Q~~

But Krazz, wouldn't you drive a little farther to borrow a really good pair of boots?
Of course with the price of gas, they better be a darn good pair of boots.

With gas here around $3.40 a gallon here, those boots better be gold lined (also up to $800/ounce) with about 2 pounds of the gold stuff! Boots, booty, hootie, pootie, it's all good!

Ohh I'd drive for the boots!!!
Boots tend to last longer than the average relationship.
They sit quietly in a corner.
They don't complain that you are not "wearing" them right.
They don't ask how they look tonight.
They never complain that they need to lose weight, but never do.
I never am late because of them.
I can just jam my foot inside them, and they don't complain.
Now what was the qurstion?
LOL!

Unless Kat is a vegan, then the leather may need to be replaced by "man-made materials." That opens a whole can of "Fashion Police Worms."
But the polyester is definately out!
