I would have to agree with mred we have become a country of wanting it now,there was a time before credit cards and cable tv computers that you saved for the things you truley wanted in life.Personaly I feel there is a time and place for everything in Life and when you both are ready you will know its time to say I love you with out words.But I think you have to know that person longer then just a few dates its time to remember that all good things in life are worth waiting for...

lust wasn't invented in the 1970's. listen to old blues songs from the early 1900's. better yet, use google to learn about the history of vibrators. companies like oster and hamilton beach got their start making vibrators in the early 1900's. read european literature from the 1700's and 1800's. study it's history and art.

pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease! why does it have to be either/or. are early sex and love mutually exclusive. the captain has had long and meaningful relationships that began with sex early on. holding out sex as some kind of prize for good behavior encourages it's own share of pretending.

Its not more important now days than before it is just more open women are not bound by the beleif that sex is dirty or that it is a duty only performed for the man's enjoyment

Splitlicer i agree with what you said, when i was growing up, it was always hidden in the closet, an taught as soemthing dirty, an also preached to as if you had sex before marriage you would never go to heaven.
