he has found out i'm on a dating website.he's set up spyware on me.how do i get rid of it.i hate being spyed on.he's in another state with another woman and continues to spy on me.he makes false claims that shes's just a friend but i'm not believing it.any of you computer smart people let me know what your thoughts are on this.

punch in spybot search and destroy in search on internet provider and download from web site ,load on your machine then clean it.

you can't know who's using spyware on you, if your "ex" knows where your browsing its because of your screen name, so simply change it!! though you do need "spy blocker" to stop the hackers, I highly doubt that your ex has launched spyware on you. and if he has somehow accompolished this, well then maybe you should simply f*ck with his head!!! tease him, make him jelouse, etc. have fun dear !!!!!!!

If you mean a "key logger", then you should have someone check your machine...
One of the advantages of having two computers, one for personal work and it stays offline and another that you can put online and format and reinstall if something bad happens...

As for finding out who put spyware on your computer, Yes, You can find out who.
Keyloggers have one of two functions, depending on what kind it is. It can either record just keystrokes or it can record keystokes and screenshots. You can also set them up to send them an email address without the person even knowning.
ZoneAlarm - I would not use this one, It takes even a poor hacker less then 5 minutes to get around.
If you want to really protect your computer, Get a hardware firewall. They are known as routers.
Spybot Search and Destroy checks for over 109,000 verious of spyware and keyloggers.
Make sure you DO NOT download the one that says SpyBot.. It is a want to be verious of Spybot S&D except this one, also installs a few versions of spyware.
