Sometimes, you can start by asking a question, like "Excuse me, are you from around here?", "Some friends and I have been looking for things to do in this area, have any suggestions?" That way if they're not interested, they answer and go on about their business, and your not embarressed. Or he will follow with more conversation.

I do the open-ended question approach, too, Mom.. It's an excellent way to open up a person and get to see if they'd like to take it a step further...especially, if they're shy. Sometimes, open-ended questions can give more details/feedback about a person than just an average yes or no question. I guess it just all depends on the question I ask or vice versa.

I need all your opinions I can get!I'm not that good at expressing myself when it comes to guys.I just keep my eye on them and see if they make the first move and if they smile at me first I will smile back or if they say hi to me I will say hi back but I'm afraid to start A conversation with them because I am A.waiting on them to start A conversation first or B.not knowing if they are into me or C.or I'm afraid they want like what comes along with the package.I'm the type of person that A.Plays hard to get or B.throws signals at them like A lifted of the eyebrow or C.A deep stir of love into their eyes.(of course when they look at me.)I hope they are not getting mixed signals by me.Thats just the way I am.I guess I just get butterflies in my stomach when my friend says to me that guy is checking you out and thats expressly hard if you have A crush on him.I hate it when I get shy and nervous.I guess it can go the same way for the guy to.
Signed I just can't help myself.

if a guy is interested in you he is able to get the best out of you naturally and sometimes the timing has to be right too--be yourself as you're very young--make sure you're very comfortable in your element--you should seriously instead of looking into the mirror to look gorgious for any guy is to practice in the mirror--why not i do that for a sales call when i have an appt and i'm more closer to father time then you are closer to mother theresa

Many people have an apprehension about possible rejection. For example, you say, I would like to get you in bed and he says he'd rather have the flu. If you are particularly good looking and your quarry is not as ethetically positioned within his gender, then the fear of rejection is muted and you can be more bold and vice versa. Without fear of rejection, then your introductory comments need only to be tempered by good taste and creativity.
Generally, "would you like to see my bass boat?" is effective.

Thanks you All for your advice I will keep them things in mind next time.This is to professer2 no I don't have A sister sorry! The guy I was talking about was at my church I haven't been to in A while and my friend said come back in give it A try and when I did there was that cute guy I was talking about and my friend told me he has been going there for about three weeks and I never got to ask him his name and he didn't know mine either and I only turned around and smiled at him and he smiled back but I was to nervous to go sit next to him because I didn't know what other people would think about it because I usally sit near my friends but anyway after church ended all the people at church went to eat out for A early ThanksGiving meal and the guy talked to the preacher and his wife and they told him to come along with us to eat with us and said he would and then I went up stairs to get my two kids while he was still talking to them and my friend was watching my kids and then I ask him who that new guy was and how long he has been going to this church and he told me and then my friend told me he was checking me out and I thought to myself thats A good sign then I went back down stairs and was putting my kids coats on them while I waited on my friends to leave so I could ride with them and that guy was still talking to the preacher and his wife about what I don't know but he finally left before we did and he looked at me and smiled and he went out the door and me and my kids and friends wasn't to far behide him and was talking to some of the church people outside and we got to the car and he fially got to his truck and all of A sudden my friends was putting my kids in the car and I looked at him and he looked at me and I gave him some sign like lifting my eye brow and then he got into his truck and flew out of the church's paking lot like he was showing off infront of me so I couldn't wait to see him at the restaurant but he never showed up then I ask my friends wasn't he suppose to be here to eat with the church group and they told me yes then I ask my friends what was his name because I never got to meet him and they told me his name is Jeremiah so over the week I made him A welcome to our church card and I was planning on giving it to him on Sunday and sunday came and he was A no show and the next Sunday came and still no show and I am wondering if he will be at church this sunday or not.I wonder if I made him stop coming to church because of something I may of did to him.I hope not I only wanted to get to know him and I think I came across to him wrong.Didn't mean to thats just the way I am.Will let you all know if he comes back to our church or not.Thanks for caring.

This is simple, just go introduce yourself to him, ask him how long he has been going to that church, that it is your usual church and you havent been there in a long time and you have noticed some new people. he will open up
