Grief and pain causes the most bizarre feelings. Sometimes ya just wanna take a whack at weezer!
It's good to have friends who will cry with you, laugh with you, let you scream and still love you until you're YOU again. Or the new slightly shinier you becaused you've been buffed smooth from all the hard knocks, skinned knees and Puffs tissues wiping the top layer off.
For those of us who've loved and lost, or are missing someone, or just missing love.
Take a whack at wheezer, make it funny, mean, clean (within some modicum of social propriety) and de-stressing.
Perhaps we can lay off each other if we take it out on poor old wheezer.
I'LL TAKE THE FIRST WHACK:

you know.... Ive said this about some of my gal pals here, its like Steel Magnolias.. what affects one affects the other.. havent gotten to the part of wanting to whack any of them but... there could come a day! I love Olympia Dukakis.. shes a hoot!

I, too have thought of this movie, when I think of DH, 50+, at times.
From getting rid of the pesky birds in the magnoia tree to how the most cantankerous can unexpectedly offer great seeds of wisdom, perfect for the moment.

Steel Magnolias is one of my favorite movies, my youngest daughter and I watch it together every now and then.
I love all the ladies in that movie, each has their own strength, together, they are invincible.
I have girlfriends like them in real life too
