What's the big deal if your friends talk to you or not??? If I have stupid questions then I go to my friends. If I haven't heard from in a long time then I check up on them but I don't need to hear from them on a daily basis. I figure they are looking for special someone too ... how am I gonna help them??? But I'll be there when they need me or I need them.

Chopper thats your opinion hun and I appreciate that but I'm not that way.A friend to me is someone who cares for ya and if their a friend I'd like to chat with them....but thats just me I guess!Mike

Granted that this forum thing is fun and I can see that it might be obssesive for someone, but for it to be a constant part of your daily routine might not be healthy. Of course if you are bound to your PC because of health, chains, lack of funds, children or because you live where I do, then I can understand. But, really get out and have some fun and forget this thing for a while. Save it for a rainy day or when you have the flu.
What do you think.... I'll be back on tomorrow.

I have more friends currently on my friends list than I have had in real life offline at any point in my life..I've been a loner for so long..I sometimes cannot fathom the very idea of having more than one friend at a time, much less to talk with all of them everyday.
they are friends because ,at one time or another..we shared a few common interests, or opinions or ideas as relates to one of the various topics brought up here. we share a few moments in time..then off on our merry ways to explore. We talk once a week or more...or less..it doesnt bother me that they don't always reply when I think they ought to..some people's mail boxes fill up faster than others..maybe they are busy replying to their future mates..and who am I to stand in their way?

I really totally understand what you guys are saying but I dont know about you guys but I can be in a relationship and still talk to my friends.I have friends all over the place I'm just saying that it happens on here.I know I dont need to speak to them everyday but when it comes to the point of saying hello all the time and they dont go out of their way to say hi out of the blue to u it just makes me wonder thats all?

I understand where you are coming from..havent had it happen yet..either that or I am wayy too understanding. I understand that I'm not the most important person to them ...but I am here if they need a shoulder to lean on..I'm just happy to be in the loop somewhere..anywhere..maybe i don't expect much..but that is just how I am..we're all wired just a little differently..I try to see all sides of a situation..although I'm usually in the dark .

Unfortunately, I think sandbagger is onto something. If we had a life, none of us would probably be here. But, we might get a chance to meet that special somebody. It's like a slot machine. Chances are pretty damned slim. But they do exist. I have online frineds from here and there. I don't talk to them on a daily basis. They don't die and neither do I. But, they also nknow how to get ahold of me if they really need something.
