Now that we're into the Spring and Summer months, I'd say it's time for some of us to do some bragging, or complaining. The object of this thread is an opportunity for you to do just that. You may post a picture, or not, there are no rules. Just a chance to air out what might or may not be growing in your yard. It can be fact or fiction, for example, I have a water fall in my back yard.
Actually, that's not my waterfall, this next pic shows a pile of rocks on the left. That's my waterfall, but the pump isn't turned on. I got some work to do on that.

Neat thread, Judge, I have decorative gourds growing against the brick wall in front of my condo...had them last year too, but never got one gourd cuz the numbskulls who come to cut the grass chopem down every time, no matter how many tears I shed telling them about it...they just keep cutting them down. Next time I see them come, I am going to lie down on top of them (gourds, not the grass cutters) and not get up till they leave...oh heck, they are coming tomorrow and I will be on my way to Somerset for a party at some wild chick's home. Guess I'll have to try it next week! Drats!
Judge, love your yard. May I come slide down your waterfall...the big one,,,when it grows up from the little one...
Oops, there I go,,,without my top on?

No Stumpy, you don't have all 8 million ticks. Their are about 2 million in the back yard. Thank God for the chickens. They gooble them up all day.

This here little fellow is just one of many type visitors to the back yard. This one is right around 500 hundred pounds and at the front shoulders, would be about the height of a standard front car hood.
"Zip" didn't take kindly to his presents and let him know about for sure.

After finally finishing the edging, mulching and plantings of flowers around my house ... with all of this rain ... I find I now have a moat surrounding my house.
As soon as I can get outside to take a picture ... I will post.
Rain ... rain ... go away!!!!

As someone who has close ties with the EPA and other agencies, I find this not only offensive but illegal. Hawks have excellent vision.

I don't have anything as impressive as the rest of you. Living in the city I don't have much room to grow things. The front yard has spaces laid out for flower beds but we have corn, beets, swiss chard and bush beans growing in them. The rest of the garden is in pots alongside the lead walk Looks like a bunch of hicks live here. LOL

Thats such a Bummer steelergirly . We lost power but the only flooding we had was in the garage TG. fyi from prior flood experience if the carpet smells funny after if drys and is back where it belongs put bowls of vinegar down on it overnight and that should help .
