that is what my friend does...
she says it really helps
just being able to let it all go
naturally, and float
in the water...
she says, it seems to calm her shakes
and regulate her body temp back to
normal faster...
her husband recommends it too..
he leaves her alone for about 30 to 45 min
then brings her a cup of tea..
and they just sit on the chairs
her wrapped in a towel he brought for her
and looks at the stars...
till she is okay, and they go back inside..
he is the epitome to me, of a great husband..

There are many things good about being in a relationship. I have been traveling around the U.S. for the past year and the one thing that keeps coming back to me is how I have no one with whom I can share the experience.
When driving in the Northern California mountains I turn a corner just in time to see the morning sun rising over the peaks to reveal the deep rich mountain forest vista as the dew mist begins to clear.....
When, at at distance, viewing Reno at night as the encircling streetlights cascade toward the bouquet of colors provided by the casinos at the heart of the city much as baby's breath highlights flowers at the center of an arrangement...
When standing at an overlook on Mt. Rose highway to see Lake Tahoe below as I take in the rich blue of the lake in contrast with the sculpted mountains in the background...
When flying into L.A. to see the myriad of lights rise up to greet me. My eyes strain to see the end of the scene to no avail. Tendrils of the evening fog reach in toward docks and the waves gently wash the shore...
In the distance, the skyline of Chicago rises before me as the buildings appear to stretch to reach the stars. The lights softly pale the skyline behind the city accentuating the scene before me...
Viewing San Francisco bay at night from a restaurant on Pier 39. I can see the lights of Alcatraz and the lights from passing ships in the distance as they sail toward the golden gate bridge....
Driving through the springtime mountains in Northern Utah as the entire area springs to life. Seeing the mountains for the first time and truly understanding for the first time the meaning of the word "Majestic"...
Riding the enormous waves on Lake Superior in Upper Michigan and experiencing the raw power and beauty of the worlds largest freshwater lake....
Riding through the mountains of West Virginia in the Fall wondering how each turn can lead to more beauty than the last....
These are just a few examples, but in each one I could reach beside me and no one was there with whom I could share the experience. If you want to know the best thing about being in a relationship, it is never having to say "yes" when a restaurant hostess asks the inevitable question: "Just one?"

Here's my answer:
Yes, sex is a part of a relationship, a small part. A part that will unfold in the future of a relationship. The glue that holds everything together is the friendship shared, the shoulder loaned, the shoulder needed, the crying and laughing together, shared goals, the compromises, the following, the leading, the communications, and of course the little things too.
I don't see friendships as taking a ton of work. I see them as something you look forward to.. (can't wait to tell her this, or share this...wow, she would love this...hummmm wonder what she would say to this or that....): That sharing of each other and things experienced both solo and jointly.
Definition of a best friend can go many ways depending on who is telling it. But without it, a relationship will not work long term and I would not be interested in persuing.
Yes, it can be a long road getting to that point, but I think a joyful one. As trust is built on that road, more and more is shared. What a most wonderful thing.

I was beginning to think my posts could not be seen. I have been having a horrible time uploading a picture. I try to upload every night and always get the "Well, that's unusual" message. I think I'll have to find a hard wire connection to the internet to make it happen. It's when she just walks up to you. Then just gives you a big hug and kiss just for being you. It's when you wake up in the morning just looking at her. Knowing you will never what to leave her side. Waiting for her to come home from work, So you can hug her agin. Yep, Some of the things here not all. It's when you got stars in your eyes and a rainbow in your heart. I have to stop..lol.
