i had 14 months of memories of her dying from her brain tumor. it was slow and by december, it was obvious that the chemotherapy she was recieving was only slowing down the process. the tumor had reached the other side. i was actually sad yet relieved when she finally passed on the week after easter, her suffering was over. i now remember the deterioration of her in december until her final good bye in april. i said my good byes and it wasnt easy but i feel relieved it is done and suffering is over.

I dont think ther is a real solution to gettin thru the Holidays it is still tuff for me as I lost my wife in 02 she got sick on Thanksgiving and passed two days after from a stroke we had just moved into our house that week so she got to live in our new house for about 5 days.So I dont know what to tell you to do because it is still a fight for me and I still have a very rough time still and people just do not understand!I still spent Christmas by myself because I just didnt want to be around anybody! And it was best for me as I just was not in a very good mood and did not want to spread the sadness and ruin it for everybody.
