Iam asked over and over what I want.I find it easier to answer what I dont want.Am I crazzy? Does everyone else know what they want.?Happiness is all I wish for.But that is what you make of it...so....

I can tell ya I have a long list of what I want, but my list of what I don't want is shorter and easier for me to say to someone. I just hope I am not being picky on what I want, that's all.

Usually when someone on any dating site asks what are you lookin for, I think what they really want to know is: Long term, Short term, Friends with benefits, boyfriend (since the thread is started by female). I discovered this b/c I used to tell them in 5-10 years I wanted to own 10 acres of land and start building log cabins on it to sell. That wasn't the answer they were lookin for

On even the worst days, when nothing was working at work or in my life, I knew that at home I would find warmth, peace, companionship, and encouragement. As a consequence, the next day would surely be better. I MISS THIS FEELING and i miss feeling loved!!!!!!!!!!
good humor is the oil and wine of a merry relationship,i miss laughing and having meaningful conversations with someone who i "KNOW" cares about me and there is no companionship equal to that where the jokes are rather small and laughter is great!!! But when you're deprived of it for a lengthy period of time, then you value human companionship even more and sure the compliments and flirting are fun and great but i get lonely and miss the thought of being loved, kissed and held and being missed by someone speacial that is not just out for a fling of fun. call me crazy but its starting to seem impossible to me at this point "most" of the men i come in contact with are looking for fun and sex and dont know what they are missing but to each his own....... i know we are all here for different reasons... i will not give up hope im sure he's out there somewhere, i guess i just have to be patient

I have my children and grand children all 7 living within 4 blocks of me so I am not that lonely.
I have been alone for 23 years and had bad relationships when I was with someone so I do not know what it is to have a good man or relationship. I decided to let myself learn a little more about what to look for in a man before I tried again.
I think with 3 single women to every single man in my age group, there are 2 of us not gonna find someone. Gratefully I am one that can handle it if it doesn't happen.
But then again that puts me in a position to be really choosy.

What I want and what I need are two different things. The thing is, we need to try to stop thinking about what we want and strive on what we need. There are only three things we need in life: food, clothing, shelter. If you have those three, everything else is secondary.
