Hi SG...

I agree with the others. Nothing will run a man off faster
than a jealous woman. It is WAY too soon. I think your got in
a little over your head...back off some...don't be so
available. On the next date...I would tell him that you want
to slow things down a bit, that you had a really great time, but
will "eventually" want more from a relationship.

I know sometimes loneliness can suck, especially around the
holidays, but that is no reason to run headlong into a new
relationship, then if it fizzles out, you are going to get
hurt!

Be sweet, relax, take it easy, and try to do fun things
other than letting yourself get "all steamed up."

THAT'S why I NEVER get "pretty physical" on the 2nd date! And besides, why get jealous over someone you barely know? Seems like people take this cyber shit way too seriously! JMO

I'm sorry, I don't get it. Just be yourself. If you want to be physical on a second date, be physical. There were two of you participating, right? If I've been talking to someone online long enough to know I want to meet him, and the chemistry is there when we are face to face, you can bet I'm gonna do whatever I want!

If it bothers you that he's still active online, there's nothing wrong with you telling him that. You're being honest, and I always thought honesty and communication were good things. You have to keep in mind that he might not react well to it, but you were still honest.

I understand the advice you've gotten here, and I guess the only thing I can say is be yourself, be true to what you really want, and if he can appreciate that your third date will be terrific! Good luck!

V21, thanks so much for your comment, "I'm sorry, I don't get it. Just be yourself. If you want to be physical on a second date, be physical. There were two of you participating, right? If I've been talking to someone online long enough to know I want to meet him, and the chemistry is there when we are face to face, you can bet I'm gonna do whatever I want!"

The thing is, it's not like I'm 12 years old, right? I'm not 20, 30, or even 40. If I can't go ahead and express physicality when I want to at age 50, then when in the hell am I supposed to do it?!

One of my girlfriends was just horrified about this when I told her, and two of my other girlfriends said "You go, girl!" So V2, I'm with you on that one!

As for Date # 3, we shall see. I do like the guy. And I'm attracted to him. And it's nice to feel that, isn't it? The jealousy thing is silly, and I'll have to get over that by focusing on the rest of my life. The fact that I have plans with lots of other friends and stuff over the weekend, AFter I see him. My life does exist outside him or The Date!

NBC TODAY show this morningm(later edition)...had an author of a new book:

HOW TO MARRY A FABULOUS MAN...P Livermore.

She had some great advice about men, and when to initiate what...
when to draw in the reins and so forth. She has some sort of a dating service,
where the men are asked to *donate $$$* to a charity, and women are asked to volunteer.

This has worked for her for a number of years. She is not in it for the money!

I am going to see the book in person...I think it will have many answers.

How about if you look at that book this week, in a bookstore, and confirm your own
self esteem, beauty and character.

Be a magnet!

Attract the good things to YOU.

Gee Sg, I know what you talking about. As Metu said, we take this cyber dating pretty serious. Sometime is hard to see the difference between the real world out there and our wishes to conquer what we really want from life..... when this happen we only see what we want to see and not what's up there....... take it easy, don't set yourself for desapointment. Explore first if he is what he says he is, if he is what you want, slowly but sure. Who knows if he is a keeper...... who knows if he is a player.......... You have to find out yourself. Wish you the best.

I never understand how someone could feel jealous catching someone else on a site afterwards. You had to be on the site a lot too to see him on the site a lot too?

Maybe he see you online alot and saying to himself. "If she wants to keep looking so am I"

To me this is the first sign of stalking. Do you happen to ride by his place too?

Bottomline is why care...There is a good chance he has email friends he wishes to keep in contact with. Most of them might not even be in this country.

Stop stalking him...

I am only messing with you because so many people took the safe and easy reply to your question....
