It's very possible to change someone. However, trying to change someone to suit yourself usually changes them into someone that's bitter and unhappy with themself and the relationship.
If you feel the need to change the person, then that person is apparently not the person you are wanting. When you have the right person, there's no need for them to change.

Blocky, Leahmarie & Big Joel each brought up some good points And Roduku hit the nail right on the head!
Asking someone to change little habits like the age old, leaving socks on the floor or leaving the toilet seat up. These are things that we ask, or are asked of us as part of the bonding that takes place. It shows we care about each other.
I liked what Blocky said… I guess that means you won’t ever date a vegetarian!!
And Captain… you said it quite well…
“you'll never find anyone perfect. heaven help you if you do. but make sure the imperfections are ones you can live with, maybe even chuckle about and love about them.”

I believe some changes are needed in a relationship but they are compromises really not changes. If someone is a party animal and is use to hanging out with their friends then some compromises are needed. I don't mean change entirely but mellow it out a bit. Those who don't want to compromise are not likely to have a relationship for very long if they chooses their friends over their mate.

Its always easier to change someone on the outside but to even think about trying to change someone from the inside only says that the person you met isnt the one you wanted at all.........

Absolutely not. Can support their change but never change anyone but yourself.
