This is a tough question. Not being in your shoes, it would be hard for me to answer. I have very large breast and do feel sexy with them. People have told me to get a breast reduction because sometimes my back will hurt. I won't do that because its a risk. If you do it, do it for you! My thoughts and prayers are with you....

First I am so sorry to hear about what happened to you. I have always had a small chest and felt like having breasts would make me feel like more of a woman. I got impants and loved them and I did feel like more of a woman because of them except I was having a problem with one, after a year I had to have them removed and it was so emotional for me. I felt like a part of me was dying. I now have a scar on my one breast from a tube that had to drain the infection. Here I am a few years later back to my small chest, I just wear push up bras now and I know thats one of the first things a man looks at (I know not All, But most) so it makes you feel like it really is an important factor but I think if a man gets to really know and love you then it wont matter. I probably would want to have an implant if it were me. Saline implants are more natural. Still it is something you have to decide and you do have to take health in consideration too.

Lust, what an asinine thing to say. I'd like to be able to have a conversation with a guy who can keep his eyes on my face. Heather is lucky, and smart to know it.

lilbit hon, I post this issue months ago and the responses was encouraging. Is hard to deal with it. If there is any comfort at all, you aren't the only one and it can happen to any lady at anytime. I lost both due cancer 4 years ago, I wish I didn't but it happen. I learn how to acept my challenge, and it doesn't bother me anymore. My ex left after this, why, but let me pretend he was overwellmed. In the back of my mind that was it. No more date. But, wrong djugement hon. There is men up there able to see you as you, as a woman. I make sure to be up front with my issue if a men wants me for me he will stick around and if not, c'est la vie, I'm fine with it. Don't hold yourself back from dating cene. About having a cirurgy, do it if you are comfortable with it, forget about it if you don't..... just think of yourself 1st. If you need some tips how to camuflage (as I cal it)the other side of your bras I'm here for you, just give me a buz I will be glad to teach you some tricks. Take care of yourself. Hugs

If it were me in your cituation, I would not have reconstructive surgery. Simply because as someone said if the cancer returns its hard to detect. I would wait until I met someone that loved me for me and leave the decission up to the two of you.
