Does anyone know where Fedor Emelianenko is fighting? He was dominant in PRIDE and I really want to see him fight in the UFC and see how he fares. What do you guys think? And let me know if anyone knows where he is fighting now.

GOOD QUESTION, Good question, he is the best in the world he has alredy beat some of the best fighters in the UFC including the current heavyweight champ and CROCOP.I would like to see him in the UFC before he gets to old to fight. But if he did, there is nobody and I mean nobody that can beat him. What do you think?

Everyone says he beat Tim sylvia in 37sec like thats impressive who cares the onl reason Tim is good at all is becuz hes so tall other than that he sux randy coture almost knocked his head off the 2nd punch into their fight but w/e if FEDOR was any type of real champion than he would come t the UFC and rule if hes that good its that simple its the superbowl of the MMA world and I think he knows that he isnt good enough and really the p4p best fighter lol give me a break think about it people!

That is a large amount of ignorance when it comes to the world of MMA.
Tim Sylvia has fought and beat quite a few good fighters in his career. That includes the likes of Brandon Vera, Andre Arlovski, Ben Rothwell, and Jeff Monson. He also went the distance with Randy Couture and lost by decision; he is good because he has talent as a fighter, period.
On Fedor coming to the UFC, why does he really need to? UFC, unfortunately, has been treating their fighters quite poorly as of late and Fedor has nothing left to prove to anyone. He holds victories over Cro-Cop, Big Nog (twice), Former UFC Heavyweight champion Kevin Randleman, Mark Coleman (twice), Matt Lindland, Tim Sylvia, Heath Herring, Renato Sobral, and Ricardo Arona.
Fedor has faced top competition and won very easily in most cases.
Why would he come to the UFC anyways? Affliction has a MUCH better heavyweight division currently.

it has nothig to dowith ignorance of the sport at all it has to do with the fact thats he's 6'10" or w/e and ok ill give him the fact that he has the basics but hes no champion and hes not an exciting fighter, he didnt beat brandon vera lets be honest here brandon stayed with the guy for all 3rds with a broken hand and still almost wonhe woulda killed sylvia if he didnt break his hand! and on the Fedor factor dont even bring up cro-cop hes a has been he came to the UFC won 1 fight and than got the crap beat out of him 2times and than ran to another organization becuz he couldnt handle the UFC! Im not saying Fedor isnt the p4p best fighter in the HW division but if ur going to call urself the best well than fight where the best fight, if you dont that like saying Im the best pitcher in the world but yet i play in all the small games against weaker teams come on but w/e everyone is intitled to their own opinion and thats mine take it or leave iti dont care later fellas

But the best heavyweights don't fight in the UFC; it is a thin division at the present.

It's a lot of money issues which seems frivolous as mistreatment.
Figure it this way: Roger Huerta and Kenny Florian , two top lightweights, will make $25,000 to show and $25,000 more to the winner. Considering how much money they shell out training and preparing for fights, as well as the fact that not many fighters fight more than 3 or 4 times a year; it is kind of a meager sum of money to work for. If UFC is truly the best, then they need to stop mooching off the fighters talents so much and pay out a little bit more cash.

And he beat the current UFC Interim HW champ (Big Nog) twice....When he fights Randy he'll beat him. He's just the best, and I'll put money on that.

I actually think the main card on Saturday makes a statement for card of the year as of yet (The one in December is supposed to be explosive).
I actually like the Fitch - GSP fight to go the distance.
GSP is an amazing fighter, but I don't think you can entirely count Fitch out of this fight either. I can't pick a clear winner here, but I'm edging towards Fitch.
I can pick winners in the rest of the main card though
Jason MacDonald over Demian Maia
Manuel Gamburyan over Rob Emerson
Heath Herring over Brock Lesnar
Roger Huerta over Kenny Florian
