Just got back from another mission. I had the honor to escort a young Hero home. He is returning from his 3rd tour in the sand box. What a humbling experience it was to shake his hand!
He was presented the key to the city.(Bushnell, Ill.) All he wanted was to eat! LOL
I spoke with him after the ceremony. He told me that all he wants is to go back to his Unit.
I'm asking ALL of my Conservative friends to go to www.patriotguard.org and join! You don't have to ride a motorcycle, you just have to care and show up! It's a feeling of pride that you will never know again!
We are having a Gathering of the Guard in Knoxville, Illinois this next August. I'd like to see all of you there.

We don't have a motorcycle. We just decorate the pickup with flags and drive right behind the bikes. We meet great people on every mission. PGR members are the nicest folks!

The mission of the Patriot Guard Riders is two-fold;
#1, Establish a barrier between the grief stricken families and friends of America's fallen heroes and the activist "code pink" radicals that, by their actions, would rather live under tyranny.
#2, Show respect to the United States Military by representing the gratitude felt by the huge majority of (freedom loving) Americans.

No,
The only thing that you need is love for our fighting Heroes and the willingness to stand up for them. You can join, for free, at www.patriotguard.org
Membership is free, Freedom isn't!
If you want to join, go to the site above, join, and find your State. Join your States group and they will email you every upcoming mission in your State.
If you decide to go on a mission, just contact the Ride Captain (denoted by the red PGR hat) and tell him that you are there and ask him where you are needed.
I promise you that you will NEVER have a more rewarding experience!

I'd joint but my fear is that I might not be able to preevent myself from doing something that might tarnish the name and purpose of such a fine organization. I have little tollerance for the legal but immoral enemy you fight.

If you join, (and I hope you do) you will be standing with some of the finest Americans that you will ever know. We all feel the same as you, but we put the feelings of the family first. We are there to honor them and to ease their pain. If we were to engage those idiots, we'd just be adding to their sorrow. We are there as a cushion. We keep the families from seeing and hearing those vile people!

Yesterday, we had the Honor of escorting two Heroes back home from Afghanistan. One was in Iowa, the other, in Illinois. After leading the Hero in Iowa home, the Patriot Guard traveled to Northern Illinois, to escort the other Hero home. These are from yesterday.....

Back from escorting our WWII Veterans. We didn't get to see them. They were escorted from Iowa to Illinois by another group of Patriot Guard Riders. When they got to us, the other group peeled off and we took over.
We escorted the bus about 45 miles. People were passing us and honking at the bus. I saw MANY thumbs up, as we rolled by! What an Honor!!!!!!
