Why is it someone wants to date you, but as soon as they find out you aren't financially stable, they change their minds? Or especially in my case, they think at first I will support them? I feel so left out because I don't have money. I can't go anywhere or do anything for fun anymore. Like the bible said I went through my pain to bare children, the bible states for Adams sins man sall work to support his family, did women lib really screw everything up? I know it's the econ. now adays, but not all along. Are the days gone for a man to care for his woman, or do we have to pitch in? If that's the case I'm screwed!

Sweetness I am with you. No money, but the men I have met don't make a deal of it. You can only do what you can do. If they want you for your money then they aren't worth the trouble. When I left my ex 23 years ago he said "How am I going to make it without your paycheck?" Now get this I was working as a motel maid at $3.15 an hour. I told him to get a better job. As I left his sorry a@@. So don't worry about  I don't look at how much money they make and they should not judge me as to how much I make. JMO

Men seem to think that women are after them for a meal ticket. However it does work both ways. Ive been asked questions about my financial situation. The red flag goes up, they are just after money, so they are history.

I will also say, that as one does get older, there are some financial things that do come into play...hateful as they are, they can carry some heavy impacts on your life....

like i mentioned in another thread, I have been a single income 98% of my adult life, and what's mine is mine and what's yours is yours. If asked, i don't tell either......i have worked very hard for what i have and intend to keep it that way unless I were to get married.
If money is their focus, then they won't find it outta my pocket!

It would be more about the fun we'd have. Your a sweet lady,( I now, I know, thus the name), and you deserve the very best. so never settle for less.

as I said a bit ago...like it or not it does enter into our lives, especially as we grow older....
just retirement benefits ans SS raise some problems...that may become a really dangerous problem....
