Just something that was sent to me the other day and I thought I would share.
Kind of made a little sense to me.
A sick man turned to his doctor,
as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said,
"Doctor, I am afraid to die.
Tell me what lies on the other side."
Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."
"You don't know?
You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"
The doctor was holding the handle of the door;
on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining,
and as he opened the door,
a dog sprang into the room
and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said,
"Did you notice my dog?
He's never been in this room before.
He didn't know what was inside.
He knew nothing except that his master was here,
and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear.
I know little of what is on the other side of death,
but I do know one thing...
I know my Master is there and that is enough."

I've been dead twice. Both times there was nothing. No tunnels. No darkness. Nothing. Not even awareness. Maybe everyone else gets an afterlife except me. If thats the case, I'm very comfortable with it.

I know that if I have live my life for Christ and I find out in death that he never existed I have lost nothing.
But If I live my life as if Christ never existed, and in death I find out he does in fact exists, I am going to loose everything.
I am not, nor will I ever be sorry I choose Christ

I've been dead twice
Nothing in the Bible says anything about tunnels, lights, or anything like that. Also, maybe you weren't absolutely, completely dead. As I said in another post, discussing religion or politics is sure to create controversy.

But discussing religion and politics is fun and must be discussed!
Not for the timid or unlearned for sure! It's a jungle in there!!!

Unfortunately, I don't think half-dead counts By that I am guessing you are referring to clinical death (cardiac and respiratory arrest)... not to Brain Death where the brain, well, dies...
(You can have one or the other, but you are not really "finally" dead until you have both)
So technically, you were clinically dead twice, but never "truly" dead. So wouldn't worry about getting "stuck" just yet
(wow, this is really a morbid subject :-X)
Chucky_t thanks for posting that
sacredwarrior, all I can say to you is "Amen"

I like what you sent, that really hit home. I wish I could be as trusting as that dog right now in my life. My wounds are still sting'en from a year ago. Trust is something that has to be regained. I know that I should trust my Father God and Jesus, just still stings. I try...and it's still hard. But thanks for the reminder.

My dog helped me with that. I know she was one of his. She certainly is missed. I don't think I'll ever meet a human to miss as much as her. Selfish of me isn't it?!

The bible doesn't say we will breathe in heaven.
I have this to say weather anyone agrees or not. YOUR bible says Jesus died once FOR ALL MEN. And again ALL MEN WILL BE SAVED. If he died for everyone doesn't require belief only the writers said that.
