I haven't been on this site long and noticed that many new ppl post threads and get bashed by the "old heads"...I mean if someone post something you don't like move on...I'm just saying...The newer ppl don't know there was 103888893838 other posts about the same thing they just posted...Cut em some slack...

If you scroll to the bottom of the page, and even just got through the first 3 pages(that usually will cover 5 days to a week) you'll see that they are there. I've only been on here a few months, but that quickly I've gotten tired of reading about penis size everyday, or which men prefer which type of woman. those two are by far the most common, and in those first three pages, you'll find AT LEAST 8 or 9 posts. guaranteed.
I don't care if you're new, old, fat, or a regular. spell correctly, and do some research. above and beyond that, be original so you don't blend in.

there is a special post for newcomers. it covers almost everything you need to know to get started.there are a lot of good tips there but nobody reads em'
that is why people sometimes get bashed. it's not nice to do but it happens.theres no reason to say you didnt know.it's there special for newbies.
btw....i think most people get a very warm welcome.it's only the 'others' that dont.

If you look at the bottom it lists 127 pages of old posts. Just info for you.
Yes it's true that newbies come on with their "original" thoughts and the "old guard" has seen that topic 1,000 times already. Some people are nasty & some people are nice, it's the way of the world... not just this site. Take it with a grain of salt or fight back, the chioce is up to you.
Opinions are like azzholes... everybody has one and sometimes they stink!

I personally get tired of the attention newbies. Am I hot, Do you think I'm cute, etc. Do you think they'd walk up to a person on the street and ask them that??? No. Do you think they'd put up a card in the local grocery store with the same thread on it??? No. What I post on here is what I would say if the person was standing in front of me. If a person starts a thread then expect negativity along with the positives. I only done a few threads and most of them are jokes. If someone doesn't like the jokes I choose to post then they aren't hurting my feelings for I didn't write the original joke. I just have bad taste in jokes

It's the same on all dating sites that have forums like this. Most of the people that are rude to you wouldn't have the guts to treat you that way in person. So, just ignore it and remember them. Remember them so if they ever send you a wink you can tell them to take a long walk off a short pier.

that and watching people fight on here is just stupid....I mean if someone types something you don't like...you ain't got too prove a damn thing too em...They are just words on a computer screen, and if you take offense and ger hostile over that, then I would stay away and ignore you also
A lot of newbies seem too want too prove how bad they are, and so do some of the old timers also
So yoo me that says if yer agresive on here, then you are agresive in the real world too, and I wouldn't want too date an agresive person

Anyhow there is a search function. And like Amber said, it is easy to find alot with just a few clicks. The shallow crap gets old. And if someone leaves over getting corrected they shouldn't be on an internet forum in the first place. The world is tough and life is hard. Not trying to be mean, just straight up.

It doesnt bother me that they bring up old things that have been brought up in the past. How much is there if we limit ourselves to only new topics. There's a limit to the diversity of topics available in sex and the dating world.
Bring it on.
What does bother me is that they don't take a few moments to watch what is going on in here before they start making up threads that are just plain lame or totally tasteless.
Do a little research before you stick you foot in your mouth.
READ the pinned topics at the TOP OF EACH THREAD.
If you fail to do these things, prepare to learn things the hard way.

Most of the newbs I see postin here haven't done any of that dumb junk so you shouldn't be having any problems. Newb or not, nobody cares about if penis size matters or if you have a problem with big girls. I think most of us that have been around awhile try to be nice and guide the noobs a good as we can until they start posting attacks on others or a bunch of dumb threads that any sensible person wouldn't want to see. Ya know. Now get out of your corners and come dance with us, we love to see new faces cause we are all getting to be crabby and lonely. lol

I've seen you on for a while now.... you're only a semi-newbie now! LOL!
Super said it pretty well.... it is frustrating when you've been here for a while and you see the same topics over and over. Some people come on and are so caught up in the DH rush that they jump in with both feet and never look back. Some people take the time to lurk for a while and get an idea for the regulars and their personalities before they venture out with their first post. Either way is all good. Newbies and oldies (dang... not liking that term! lol!) alike need to remember that behind every post is a living, breathing person with feelings and emotions. Words can and do hurt. Anyone who is so insensitive as to think that they don't should remember that this is still primarily a dating site and people are watching what you say and judging you for it.....
Play nice! Have fun! Find the love of your life or some really good friends! Welcome Newbies!
But if anyone is interested, there is a thread at the top of the Introductions page that is genuinely helpful in finding your way through the minefields of the Forums.

I am very very old, Im opinionated, Rude crude and experienced.
Its good to have new ppl on any site.
The ones that come in new should do a little
snooping. Read a few threads on the differant subjects.
Take a stroll thru Dh before you start posting.
It doesnt take alot of energy to scroll and click.
This site is wide open to exploring.

Bluefish...We all notice. It just takes a while for us to get to know you.
I watch for consistencies in posts. They show the real you. Where your head is at and where you are headed.
Remember, for each person that posts in the threads, there are probably atleast 10 lurkers taking in all you say. These are the people I have the most contact with. They may not participate in the forums, but they do go after what they are looking for.

immabluefish, trust me hon. I've noticed your postings. The only forums I really spar with people on are the political ones, simply because that's what it's there for hehe. It's fun and I've learned alot from some great people there, so that's where I get my argument on. Still, I don't rip into people or try to hurt them.
I'm really just a big softy at heart, a true teddy bear. I try to be active on the forums, and I've really grown to love posts from alot of people here. I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon, and am hoping to make some great friends on this site. Just stick with it hon, you'll find what you're looking for. You seem to be very sweet, and it doesn't hurt that you're pretty damned cute.
