I just finished mine. I sorta put it off 'cos I thought I was gonna owe...but it turns out I am getting a little over three-grand back, combined between State and Federal. I wish I would have done them sooner now.
Anyway, maybe I should fly to the UK now. Or, I could let it sit in my savings account for those rainy days that sometimes come. Ya....prolly.

I'm jealous.
I almost always arrange things to get a tiny refund but got bit for a chunk this year.
On the other hand, bought low, sold high, so I'm still ahead no matter how you slice it.

Try sending them a check.
They'll cash that in a BIG hurry.

Ya, that's why they have the different envelope labels for refunds vs payments. They like to prioritize... Ya gotta take money to refund money, right? At least we are not living in California, where they are issuing IOU's...

Wow! Good thing we aren't living in California then, as you say. I think I'd rather have to come up with a payment plan to give them $3K instead of receiving a worthless IOU for $3K
