Jumping over the fence of the local funeral parlor, and taking the very best flowers that had been thrown out...using them in our club house, in front of the Virgin Mary's shrine we made.

I remember my first taste of rock n roll. I just had to get me some of that. Bought Rickey Nelson and Elvis. Haven't stopped since.

Using binoculars to watch the people in the apartments next door undress. It was always a hoot to see 'Fats Tanner' running around in her apartment wearing only a bra.
and avoiding sunday school so we could watch wrestling on tv (black and white of course.)

Playing baseball and basketball all the time
Being ignored by all the pretty girls (nothings changed there)...
Listening to all those old 50's songs when they were brand new!!

Almost like the ice cream truck in the summer time we had a insect fog truck come down the street and it would spray the street with this pure white cloud of smoke. All the kids would hold their breathes and run through it. You couldn't see your own hand in front of your face but that's what made it fun.
Winters were colder and so much more snow. We (my sisters, brothers and our friends) would go Christmas caroling and make lots of money. When we got too cold or it got to late we could head to Campbells Junction store who still had a soda counter and have hot chocolate with whipped cream or an egg cream soda.
