I have read some of the posts in Joe's coffee establishment, it seems everyone has a good time there. That being said; I have noticed you are planning a gathering in, was it June or July (no matter). Based on both, what will happen the minute you arrive on site for gathering,
here is a lead line:
You have driven many miles, you may have friends or family with you, maybe even a dog in tow. You pull into the site, there are several other cars there already. Someone hollars HEY!
Just thought maybe it would pass the day, be some fun, make folks happy, and even prove to be fun. Might even make making plans for party more fun too.

I get out of the car and look around at all the faces of those near me..One of them stands out more than the others..Its him!! Is it really him??Havent seen him on DH before but I know its him..i had the BIggest crush on him all through high school..Wow there he is, still as good looking as he was then...Not quite as much hair and he has glasses on now..Oh my will he remember me...I used to be slim and not wear glasses...I had a nice figure also...
Do I dare approach him?? Oh my he sees me, yes I can see the recognization in his eyes..He remembers the time I knocked him off the bleachers during the football game.The cast on his arm and legs for 6 weeks...He remembers the time I spilled paint on his books when we were all on the hill painting our class # on the water tank....
Oh no there he goes running down the hill..Wait come back. Please....
Sniff sniff trying not to cry I turn around and as I do my purse hits a rock on top of the wall around sugahs yard..It is going right for him..Oh no, oh no, not again..WHAM hits him in the rear..He stops and looks back up the hill. Shaking his finger and shouting at me he comes up the hill after me....On my do I run fast to get away from him??Or do I pretend to fall and wait for him to get up to me???
Neither sniff sniff his wife gets out of the car which just came up the drive and says" KNEW IT YOU LIED TO ME AGAIN, GET IN THE CAR...LETS GO HOME...
WOW what an ending now lets GET ON WITH THE PARTY.....  Lets Boogie Man............

Damn, Barb, you had me rollin' laughin' right up to the very end with the wife thing. I guess I'm just a sucker for happy endings.
If I were able to be at the party, the first thing I would do is crack a beer and very shyly mingle. No really, I am very shy, honest!!!

Now that is GREAT!! Think that is why I have never been to a class reunion. Did meet an old "Sweetheart" a while ago. I was very nervous, not 16 anymore, well I felt better after meeting him! I looked and acted a whole lot better than him. I was on a high for quiet awhile.

I arrive at the Shindig after many hours in the car riding with 3 other DHers.
Gathering around the campfire I finally get to introduce myself in person to everyone.
Introducing myself to the last gentleman whom we all know and love, I discover he enjoys wearing a wig, full makeup, and a red dress to die for............

He has riden his motorcyle to Sugah's and has furry animal heads on the handgrips and antlers on his helmet.  and a racoon tail off the back of the sissy bar.....

the red dress has a slit up the side so he is able to get on and off the motorcycle with tripping on his clodhoper boots... As he gets off his bike he grabs the antlers from his helmet and proceeds to put them on his head..

You are all too wonderfully fun. Maybe if it continues along the great lines you have started, it might be something you would all take to your gathering, assign parts, and play it out. Now that would be way over the top in my thinking.
