Found myself at the grocery store purchasing several different types of spices. They say you need to keep fresh ones on hand, so I threw out what was in the cupboards.

Stuffed animals because they are soft cuddly and low maintenance. Also Angels, all kinds they make me feel good. Both of these are enjoyed by the 100’s of people who have been in my home.

It started 8 years ago with a Coke bottle of red sand from Saudia Arabia from my AF kid, written in English on one side, Arabic on the other.....now anytime somebody is going somewhere there is sand.....my collection grows, have some from Guam, North Carolina, Colorado, Gulf Shores, Destin Island, Myrtle Beach, my newest was at Christmas from Mustang Island, TX. Some have beautiful shells and fancy bottles too, where will my next addition come from?

Boyds Bears, I fell in love with them the first time I saw one. I now have quite a few including 2 cookie jars, a clock, and a light up Christmas tree. Bears are cuddly, just how I like my man, a teddy bear and cuddly.

i collect anything funny--some may not know why but because humor and making someone smile or laugh is the hardest thing to ever accomplish in life--they say make them laugh and you usually can do anything else after that--take that as it may sound--

hmmmm I lost a 20+ year collection of Santa's to my 1st wife.
Lost a 15+ year Santa collection to the last/2nd wife.
Guess I can say I *used* to collect Santa's.
(*used* to keep at least one out year round.... to remind everyone about the spirit of caring, giving an joy that christmas exemplifies)
Don't believe I'll ever buy another Santa..... doesn't seem worth it.
Guess my new "collection" will just be good friends
And possibly a few umbrellas.... it raining like THE BIG DAWG here right now!!

I collect sunflowers. They stand tall, are hard to knock down, follow the sun, usually make people smile, nourish, and Van Gogh was fascinated by them. I also collect morning glories, for many of the same reasons. Old quilts, just about anything that catches my eye...
