I have a question? When guys check out your profile and dont respond is it because they are not interested or are they too shy to say anything? If i notice that a guy checks out my page and I think he is cute and like what he says but he didnt say anything to me should I even bother?

First off, this is the profile review forum. This question should probably go in another forum.
In my experience, it means one of three things: Either he's not interesting, he might think (for whatever reason) that you wouldn't be interested in him, or he's shy. IMO, the best way to handle it is to send him a wink. That lets him know you might be interested, but there's no pressure. If he doesn't respond, you know how he feels.

Green eyes. Many answers to both questions so just a few here.
Some sign up just for the forums too. Below should answer your questions in both posts.
I find many men are not confident, don't have the words and no cajones. You'll find them around here, saying "G u r profile is kewl, message me" Or winking expecting you to take the first step.
Some may have viewed you but not that they don't find you attractive and much to share but their criteria may be different.
You do have a wall of text and some click on to the next but ask for a profile review right here and we will give you one. Prifile tune up will make a difference but we don't give one unless you ask.
If someone does look and their profile looks good to you? May be a good potential that is very shy. Go ahead and message him if you want. It's 2010.
Rate in DH of persons messaging back is 1 in 10. Don't give up. Best of luck, Shawn

Don’t get discouraged, I seldom search but when I do, I send a message to only about 1 of 20. I look for compatibility on all levels. There is no point in sending messages to everyone you look at.

It could be either. Although there have been many times I have accidentally clicked on someone's profile without meaning to. I wouldn't read too much into a profile view.

Agreed....there are dozens of reasons why I'll click on a profile but not respond. Sometimes I'll just click on a profile out of curiousity when I read a forum post.

I think that you're wondering why men look at your profile and don't leave messages. Instead of crucifying you or telling you that this belongs in another thread like a wannabe moderator, I'll take it as you're asking if there's anything in your profile that stops men from leaving messages. Well, it's like this...
Do you leave a message to every male profile you look at? There's just no way that's happening. Everyone has their reasons for moving on and looking at other profiles. I have some news for you too, women are far worse for not leaving messages than men are...lol
If I had to pick something out of your profile that's specific after reading it, I'd say that the fact you have children already is enough to make many men unable to click the back button fast enough.

Let's keep it 1000 people. 1st if u have a noval on ur page I'm moving on everything I need to know is right there. Why say something? 2nd if u start of by sayin what u DON'T want in a man I'm moving on. If u here to meet people do that. Don't judge a book by its cover. Last but not least kids don't kill u but if u got 4 kids never been married I'm moving on. Basiclly make ur profile easy to start a conversation with.

Well, when I check someone out... if I don't send a message, it doesn't always mean I'm not interested.
It may just mean there was something that turned me off (such as smoking or his want kids answer is Didn't Say), but I'll be more than willing to talk to that person if he notices me.
So it's not always they're 100% uninterested, but maybe something changed their mind and they're waiting on you.
Who knows.

Okay, you're right that is a stupid reason to move on, so let's work on your profile.
How about deleting that first sentence. Make this first paragraph from you and about you. You can mention that you have a son, but remember he is here to date YOU. If that works out, he will meet your son later. This is an introduction to you.
Next make a paragraph about things you like to do just for fun. Be sure to include a few things that can be done on a first date. You're in a good location for this. There are all kinds of places around you for first dates.
Then you have your paragraph about what you are looking for.
Be sure to go back and use correct capitalization and punctuation. You have a good education, so show it here.
Men like smart women and you're one of them!

Then cheat! Copy and paste it into MS Word or whatever word processor you have and let it do the work for you!
Then you can copy and paste the end result back into your profile.
The end result is the same!
