I live out in the country which I love. Lots of big trees, big skies, wildlife and dirt to get into. It's a lot of work, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It seems I spend my precious weekends fighting fire ants, weeds, barb wire and some unknown varmint that digs in my yard. There's not much I won't tackle. I have all the tools of the trade, hand tools, small tractor, power tools, pretty mud boots etc... And there are the beautiful sunsets with the coyotes calling in the woods. YIKES! Was that a snake?
Domestic Bliss!
No that's not a horse, it's one of my dogs, he's just big!
I love going out in the mornings with my little dogs to have coffee on the porch. I can watch the little ankle biters play and have peace and quiet. Then I go feed the monkeys (yes real monkeys) and play with them a bit. Not everybody can start out the day like that! If I can't be outside, I enjoy good company or quiet time reading.
Oh, and let me warn you, I don't cook! You're welcome to cook for me, right now I have some gatorade, fruit, veggies and monkey chow in the kitchen. If you can make a meal out of that - knock your lights out! About the only thing I cook is something I can throw in the crockpot and neglect for the day. Coffee? Instant!
No, don't let that in - that's a possum, not a dog! We just grow them big here!
I am not a terribly religious person, but I am very spiritual. I attend church regularly, however I don't think organized religion is the only way of becoming a good person or getting to heaven. I have many reasons for this belief, and you probably don't really want to hear them.
I am looking for someone with similar interests. Someone that can complement my life, not complicate it. Someone that can laugh at my stupid jokes, reload my gun... I have not been actively looking for anyone to share my life with, but I know that people are not intended to be alone. If I find someone special - great! If not, I like myself and I am comfortable with that as well.
