I have been trying to meet a good man but i think im going at it the wrong way i am shy i go to the bars but all i find is a lot of players so what do i do .

Depends on what you like to do. Go to places that you enjoy...you can meet men with similar interests.

i know everyone laughs but i have meet a few ladies in the grocery store ... use to joke about it ... saying tuesday night is singles night ... singles dont shop on weekends and after the weekend they need to get food for the house ...but im here now ... looking else where

At your local hardware store!  No joke. Men there are either contractors etc getting materials for a job (so you know they work and make decent money), or theyre picking up stuff for their own home (which is good cuz u know they have their own place, and if its a fixer upper then youd be meeting him just in time to get close and maybe have a say so in it). Haha. Either way, its a win win situation as long at they arent married =)

I ask myself the same thing, nice but also one that I would be attracted to. Better yet...one that would live in my state??? hahaha I do my hobbies, fishing, nature, etc....but my hobbies is mostly in remote places. Not very easy to meet people fishing...I can assure that, I can't change my passion...so I'll still to faith that he will find me

Right here at DH is a good start.
MTGIRL, Let's go fishing in a remote place and take in nature.
Other places include the spots we all visit daily. The mall, Home Depot, The city streets/board walks, church, to name a few. Anywhere people congregate. You just need to keep your eyes open for opportunities.

What a great question for a woman to ask. Or a man for that matter. First, I don`t think people should "GO LOOKING" for the opposite sex. My thinking is that when you get yourself into that frame of mind you`re not going to be who you naturally and normally are. You`re not going to be dressed as you normally would or act as you normally would. I think one might be better served by doing those things that interest them, what ever that might be, and along the way if you encounter someone you don`t know, just try talking to them. If they don`t want to talk, just go about your business and don`t get stressed. I`m no date expert, but those couples that I do know have told me some funny, or strange, or even odd stories of how they met when they weren`t looking to meet anyone. If you know any happily committed couples, I`d suggest asking them how and where they met.
Had one couple tell me about how they both tried to grab the last can of something while shopping and found out that they both had a great deal in common. So go do your thing and be who you are and let fate take it`s course. Now there are some of us guys who are willing to let a girl tag along if she`ll keep focused and only ask intelligent questions.  Wonder if you girls are getting to the point when you know it`s just a joke?

Online is a great place for someone that does not like to go out to bars like myself. You will meet your share of duds or players no matter where you meet someone. Just keep trying.
