I would say it depends on the conversation men can be open. Still there is that fine line.

I think women are to a point. But men when they feel comfortable and know they are going to be listened to and not judged. Will open up, I have some great male friends that I have very in depth conversations with.
Sorry women I know I am being a traitor here but what I find in my work is that some women tend to want the communication but will cut the man off. And tell him what he is thinking.. That tends to shut the man down and they tend to think why bother.
Anyway that is what I hear from the men I work with or counsel.

I believe it is not a matter of the sexes but of your past personal experiences and/or how you were brought up. I tend to be a very guarded person. In part, that is due to the thinking of my family (Sicilian old school back in Palermo) Hahaha.. they don't trust most people!

Sorry, I can't vote on this.
How can this truly be answered?... I mean, it depends on
1) the relationship
2) the individuals
3) the nature of those individuals...
Okay... it's been a while since I had an in-the-flesh relationship, but my memory's not that bad.
I was always more open about my feelings - they say honesty pays, I'm not so sure but I always tried to be...
Misinterpretation and possessiveness can turn a normally charming person into a freaking nightmare!

I thin kmost women will easily SPILL whatever they think, feel or want.
I know I do on here, but in person? I am very reserved. In person I feel more vulnerable and I do not trust easily. Which is why it is easy to be on here and say things and "meet" people but when it comes to actually MEETING people I am very shy.
Should make the Summer Bash intriguing huh?
I'll be the one in sunglasses and a ball cap!

Actually, I think men are more open -- and too often we live to regret it.
