My Granny Vaughn has just went into surgery on her back. It will take about 5 hours. She is the most beautiful and strong woman in the world to me. She is 84 years old but her doctor said she has the heart of a 40 year old so surgery go well. But prayers are nice to have!

Thank you! The surgeron just came downa and they have started surgery. I'm stuck at work but the whole family is at the hospital. My aunt said she cried when they took her back. I feel so sad.

If everyone can add Wanda's Grandson Noah to the list as he was in an accident last weekend and has been making progress in recovering but won't be 100% till Doctors say Dec.... and pray for Heather and Wanda as they are in charge of keeping him on bed rest for the next several month and thats HARD to do with a young boy as active as he is

Thank you Dee, Joden and E! I just called my Dad and he said Granny is still doing great! I can't wait to see her when I get off work.
She was doped up on morphine when I got there yesterday and was telling the funniest stories about making pecan pies and her brother hiding them from her. I wish I had a picture of her to post. She is a little country Granny....and my best friend.
Hurry and get better Granny, I need some fried okra and green maters!
