 There are a large number of people on dating sites looking for just sex...others looking for online sex or just something to kill the time.

BUT...not everyone out there is doing those things. There are plenty of men/women looking for a relationship online. You just have to sift though everyone to find them.

I have come across a hell of a lot more players and people looking for sex than the ones looking for relationships, but I have met a few over the years that were genuinely looking for a relationship. Hang in there and keep trying, the goods ones will rise to the surface over time!

 I have been on and off these dating sites for two years now and have found that most are looking for sex or a playmate. Most were not honest with what they want. The different situations and stories is just amazing. We could write a book, this reminds me of politics. They go in with good intentions, thinking they can do some good, but as time goes on, they learn how to play the game. Then they are just another one that has joined the group of people that have a nice story, but it isn't worth 10cents.

 I believe this site is only a communications tool to start the "getting to know you" process. If a meeting or first date happens, it is up to the two persons to take it from there.

As for me, I am in this for the 'Long Term Relationship'. I refuse to compromise my integrity by just hooking up or prowl for sex. Neither of those bring honor to myself, or to the other person.

A problem is created when some men or some women SAY they are looking for "something meaningful", when, in reality, they are just prowling for sex. I look at is as them 'pissing my my dating pool.' If a person lies about their intentions, it damages people. That damage creates trepidation, making it harder for everyone to truly enjoy the experience.

Just my two cents.

 Honestly....I would love to have sex and move on, but......that is not the entire purpose for being here. A NSA relationship would be an adventure for me, I have always been the "goody-goody" type and have been wondering what the "other side" is like, to be able to have sex and be done with it. I always thought I could try that, now I am not so sure.....but one never knows.

A relationship is actually what someone is willing to make out of it. It may start as just a hook-up then lead to more, it's hard to say ain't it. Basically I am just looking for someone to spend time with and do whatever comes along...if they want sex then that is a BONUS, if not then time together will suffice. My problem is I went from sex every day or every other day to 0...not by choice but by circumstance, nobody to keep me company. I am unable to find anyone to even see a movie with so if someone contacts me and all they want to do is talk then that would be wonderful. I am truly seeking someone to talk with and spend time with and as stated previously sex is not a necessity but a priviledge that would be appreciated.
