 I'm not sure why you guys feel like you have to have someone. You have to be happy with yourself and then if it happens, it happens. I was always in a rush to find someone and I've been married for 2 1/2 years and it was "bliss" in the beginning and now we're getting divorced. Looking back, I wouldn't have traded what I had for this. I had my own place and I wasn't so stressed. I realized I felt more alone with him then I did before I met him! Meaning, being alone wasn't so bad after all.

 I agree with sherry1234. You have to figure out who you are, what you want and don't want before you can get involved with anyone. I have not dated in 2 1/2 years by choice. I would rather be alone with respect for myself then settle for anyone just to keep from being alone. There is nothing wrong with not dating. What a person does when they are single says a lot about what type of person they will be in a relationship. Love and respect yourself and everything else will fall into place.
