It would have to be a baby. I am employed at a church as a nursery worker. There have been times when I felt that my heart was breaking and holding a newborn was very comforting to me. Just something about new life.

My children. Nothing better in the world. Can't pick two of them up anymore. But all the hugs and kisses in the world belong to them and they know their #1 in my book.

Memories ! ! ! And there's so very much "truth", in that statement. "People", like "Dreams", come and go in this life, and I guess I could say "memories", can "also", come and go.
I would love to hold the hand, heart, and body, of the Lady God has determined to be my "life-companion", but I've yet to determine exactly "who" that might be.

I find Starlight on a clear night to be wonderfully comforting -- I don't know why, just peaceful to me. I can't hold it in my hand, but like in the poem "High Flight" --
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God
