No offense to you gentelman I wish everyone on here love if that is actually what you are looking for. I am curious when you are in your 50's or older do you really believe a women 20 years younger is going to have common interests and the same goals as you do? Most women my age who are not married and do not have kids want someone who is close in age so that one day they can have a family. Ladies please tell me if I am wrong. I perfer a man 5 or 6 years older than I am. Is that so wrong? Again no offense to anyone out there I just get bothered sometimes when I am looking for a real relationship and the only responses I am getting are from men twice my age. Am I doing something wrong?

Well, I understand what you mean. All my children are older than you are, so why do older men look to younger ladies? Maybe just wishing about a past relationship years ago or you remind them of that person. I want a lady that is close to my age because we will have the same interests and recalls of those teen years of our generation. Don't be upset if older guys give a wink, look at it positive and be flaterd. Hell, I couldn't last ten minutes with someone 30 yrs younger than me...... it would kill me! (haha)

I think some people just reach out and see what bites...you never know..some young woman might be into that sort of thing and they will get lucky. I am like you though kila, I want someone closer to my age.

Funny.... while you're wondering what older men are thinking as they chase after women in your age bracket, I'm wondering what younger men are thinking as they chase after women in my age bracket. When they're young, they want the older women.... when they're old, they want the younger ones!
I'm so tired of sending reply messages to these young men, "You're a very cute young man and I'm very flattered that you find me attractive, however the fact remains that I have a son who is close to your age and I'm just not sure that I could keep from offering non-stop motherly adise while on a date with you. I wish you the best of luck in your search, but I think you're mother would probably agree with me that you should be trying to find a young lady who is closer to your age!"

First of all 20ish is too young for me also, because being in my 50's I have children your age, and most 20ish people haven't experienced life, ie., marriage, children, and just life in general. I have found that 32+ is a good age. Let's face it, age is only a number and it really depends on how you relate. I have had several girlfriends that were younger (15+ yrs) younger than I. I don't look my age and I am in shape, and sometimes it is hard for them to keep up with me. So again I would say age is a number only, but in the 20's FORGET IT!!

You are not alone with the age gap. I have receive e-mails from younger guys, around you age group. I also, like you don't understand why?
I would enjoy hearing from someone closer to my age..We all have our own views of whom we may seek here. I hope in my profile it explains my views on why I'm here on this site.
Im sure you will be getting lots more e-mails from gentleman in your age range, such a pretty young lady. I send you warm wishes and hope all of lifes sweet joys comes your way. Don't you just love the delete button?

Older men are looking for a good time without having to work for it. We're tired of the romancing stage. Now don't get me wrong, we love to romance but we don't want to spend all that time trying hard to build a relationship. Two or three dates then we want to have sex......lol....sound familiar?

No it doesn't sound familiar. I don't date men like that. I have enough smarts not to give it up on the 1st,2nd,3rd or what ever date it may be till I know that someone has some type of meaning to me. I will also tell anyone that reads this that if in our 1st conversation sex is the subject of conversation I will not continue it. See I know well enough that at that point what a man is looking for. Call me old fashioned. I am not looking for a one night stand. Don't get me wrong I am an adult and can have a healthy discussion about sex but not in the 1st 5 seconds of meeting you.

I dont think it takes years to build a relationship but yes it does take time. If your giving up at 46 then what do you have to live for. If your not willing to work for a relationship I suppose there are those girls out there looking for just sex but so is a hooker. Thanks for the imput anyway. No offense.
