1. Do you ignore their flirting?
2. Do you slip them your number?
3. Do you tell your date you like their friend?
4. Do you try to take them both home?
5. Do you just call the whole thing off?
6. Do you try to get alone with their friend.

The last time that happened to me was in 1989. I spent a year living in a small town about 100 miles from my present location. There was a very attractive girl working on my shift and one night I asked her for a date. She said yes. We were to meet at an upscale local restaurant the next night.

I had just gotten to the restaurant and got a table when she walked in with a girlfriend. Curious and a bit amused, I sat there and made small talk with them and waited for an explanation. When she got to saying that she was afraid to go on a date alone with someone she did not know, I quietly and politely wished them goodnight and walked out. No high school crap for this boy.

Honestly? Then it is not technically a date but more of a gathering and if you wanted this you could have gotten together with your friends at a bar and gained the same effect..Not a situation for anyone to put someone else in...and if you agree? Then "Good enough for you"

It has happened to me several times, and in my case, the girl brought a male friend along. Turned out I only thought it was a date. Silly me.

I can easily understand a woman brining a friend along and could overlook that with no problem, but her friend hitting on me.... nope would call them both out on that one.

Especially if the other was looking bored etc. I would likely say... you could have said no rather than trying to bring someone else to get my attention.... would than say good night to both.

Luckily I have never really been hit on so have never had this particular problem LOL

ETA: Oops a fib, I did have this one lady grab my hair (in a nice way) and say, I love your hair... I was in line at the gas station and found out after she left that her husband was in the car out front waiting for her! The attendant at the gas station was laughing his butt off as he knew her from the area etc and so he told me about that... So I was hit on once that I know of.

The whole thing sounds wrong and weird. so what if you're attracted to the date's friend. If you're the, how do i say this, kind of tough, confident type, and there's some SEX to be had, go for it!
But if you're somebody who cant or doesnt want to, handle the possible drama that goes along with this situation, GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody that brings a friend on a date..male or female is a dipshit.....and needs to grow up...if you need that much moral support and can't go it alone..maybe you shouldn't be dating at all...

Sorry but any person that goes to meet someone for the first time, and can't show up by themselves is not EQ mature enough to be on the dating scene...

And anyone who agrees to accompany... just as bad!

If I have doubts... I call a friend and set up a time to "Call In".... all the convo needs to be is, I am fine all is well. If you don't hear from by such and such time again later... then take action if you can't contact me on my cell.

Peace
P.Win

Do the honorable Jersey thing--slip him a note--wink and say that you would like a call. Three on a first date is silly---but why be miserable if you can salvage it by dating the other person later on.

I would think that he wasn't all that interested anymore, and brought the friend along in the hopes that his date and his friend would hit it off.

Well, if it's a first date and the guy brings someone unexpectedly, that would be a little disrespectful as far as I'm concerned. Why respect someone that doesn't respect you? If I hit it off better with the other person then so be it. I'd give him my number.

Either neither of them has any interest in you, so nothing you do will help...or they came there planning a threesome, so you are a shoe in with both of them...if you have balls enough to try for it. Make a decision, and run with it.

If it weren't set up before hand that there would be more than the 2 of us, and she brought someone, I'd walk away, and she'd never see me again. It's called respect for ohters, and she clearly doesn't have it for me if she were to do that.

But nothing in the world surprises me any more!!!

When I was youunger and this would happen, I would try to get the friends # and "hook up" with her, just to piss the so called date off!!! They need a middle finger smiley!!!!

Actually, I'd find, or create, an opportunity to advise the date of what's going on and ask her what her thoughts are. A date is a date so I'd keep my word about having her as my date but make sure she understands the dynamics of that particular situation. Hey, give her a chance to be part of the solution by keeping it real and honest with her.

I think that's the most critical part of this whole scenario. I don't think it'd be about me or the flirty friend but about the lady I agreed to have the date with that night.
