I was sitting here babysitting Abbey, a 4 month old and within 10 minutes I called her several pet names I use to call my kids.

Well, I know it might be hard to imagine hearing me say this, but I called mine Scooter Poot when they were little. And I've caught myself calling my little grandson that name too.

Mom always called me Suzy Q.
I've been called Baby cakes by a fiance.
I called mine Poodle. I have no clue why??? LOL

when I refer to my son as "my baby boy" he really get's upset... he's 32. His twin sister seems to enjoy being called "my baby girl"... never really had pet names for them other than maybe "buddy, bud" or "sweetheart" for my daughter.

Got a 5 yr old cousin I call BONEHEAD cause he runs into walls. And too because he is 4ever wearing Crimson Tide t-shirts. That alone means he will never make it in life! Have a 6 pack of ex gfs that earned the name PRECIOUS. I will that explain itself. And a few others I just call them ANYTIMEIWANNA. lol

I always called my oldest little girl "Runt" she only weighed 12 lbs when she was a year old so that name fit her. My son was "Sugar Bear". I have no idea where that came from just something I always called him. I have called my little grandson "Little Bear" all his life (he will be five in June) but he would remind you (the way he talks) of Forrest Gump   He is as country as they come.
Well, today one of my clients caught him outside, peeing on a tree but I think that is just the beast in him coming out

I was always know as far back as I can remember as: "joycie" by my Daddy and all my aunts and uncles.....and I just noticed at church Sunday a couple of my cousins called me that, hmmmmmmmmmmmm, not sure I like it coming from them.. (Joyce being my middle name)

Other than the Sweetheart, sweety thing. I was always called Sister, by all the family.
Then I became my brothers "Favorite Sister". I'm the only Sister they have........lol
Called Missy a lot by relatives. Well at least they didn't call me late for supper.

Carol I have 7 sisters! I'm the only boy and the baby of the siblings! My sister calls me her bestest brother. My neice calls me her favorite uncle on her mothers side!

My mom use to say "let's go scooter pootin" which I assume means go party or dancing.
I called my son punkin,booger bear or my little bear. He now has OSO tatooed on his arm which means bear because his mexican friends use to call him oso because of his size. Strange?
As a child I called my daughter Burger King because she had to have it her way..LOL
My grandson Riley I just call Rye but lately I've been agravating him and the new baby by telling him he is sponge bob smear pants and Aden is sponge bob stinky pants..he thinks it's funny and it makes Aden smile..
Most of the times it's sweetie, cutie,
their mom (my daughter calls Aden..adiebaby, or Riley booger butt
My mom would call me Priss, or Ms. Priss...
My best friend called me Sam

Copper, I've been called some of those as well!
At work I've been called: Sunshine, Flirt, Sweet thing, Princess, Hot Stuff, Smilie, Joy, Happy, Miss Thang, etc.
My ex husbands called me: Babe, Baby, Sweetie, Honey Bear, Pooh Bear, Punkin', Sexy thing, Princess, Sugar, Darling, Yes Dear, Cup cake, and a few honorary unmentionables since the divorce. LOL  Just kidding! They both are still sweet to me!
Ex-boyfriends called me: Sexy thing, Ya Big Flirt, Sweetie, Punkin', Dear, Honey, Babe, Baby, Brat, Baby cakes, Sugar, Sassy pants, etc.
but the winner is when they call you someone else's name at the wrong time!

LOL@Joy, yeah mine use to call me crazy so much I really started believing it. And the worst of all. Everytime he talked to me or looked at me he'd say FU so I begin to answer to it. But my answer was "that's the problem you can't or don't" 
One of my bestest friends use to call everyone cupcake and she'd say good morning sunshine to everyone...she was such a sweet person

For babies: Flossie Mae, Turkey Butt, Poot Toot, Stinker Doolittle, Betsy Wetsie, Chatty Cathy, etc.
I have called boyfriends by Super hero names. I don't know why. I guess which ever one they remind me of. I've called some... Superman, Batman, Hulk (my exhusband was so strong he picked up my car for kids to get a frisbee out from under it. Scared the life out of me!) Spidey, etc.
My CB handle is Sweet Thing. My Papa gave it to me when I was 8 years old. I've used it ever since.
