Uterine fibroids??
I just spent yesterday in the ER and they found a bunch of these in my uterus and want me' to get them biopsied. I'm kinda worried. If anybody has had experience with these, would you let me' know?

Will you be able to keep your ovaries? I think that would mean you could avoid surgical menopause.

I'll be able to keep my left but my right one has a huge cyst so they are looking into taking that. The biopsy is on the 29th and we're going over options on the 27th.
It's coming up quick.

Aw, Ladi.......I hope the best for you, dear. I too had a partial hysterectomy years ago and it has helped me tremendously healthwise. Give yourself some time to heal, hon. Rememer we are here for you, dear.

As them to wait a month to do any surgery and check those ovaries again. One month one side ovulates and the next side the other ovary is active, and the way the cysts look will change. You may have one on the other side that will look just huge when it is active and the one that is big now may go down.
I had fibroids so bad that after I remarried, I'd bleed when we had sex. The first doc looked at me and I could tell he thought I had cancer. The second doc knew exactly what was up. I was 40 so I went for a complete removal since my mom had gone through a very early menopause. No regrets. I felt so much better when it was all over. The first 12-15 hours were rough but thats it.

well yes i just had one removed that was the size of a soccer ball not cool at all. but i lived have scar from belly button to crotch. was twety eight staples. I have everything still cause i want kids but still hurts and is irritating for sure.

Oh, my. I hope you don't have HPV. Have you heard of HPV? Which is bad news? Check it out. Some have in anal too. Which is bad too?

You might want to think about seeing another Dr. just for safety sake. Just to be sure maybe they could use Laser to remove them.

Well, I had the biopsy and they stopped the surgery because I have cancer. Now this Tuesday I'm having a radial hysterectomy with a ob/gyn oncologist.
They checked for the HPV DNA and I didn't have any in the biopsies.
Now they have to see how far it's spread. I'm hoping it's all contained in the reproductive system and can be cut out.
