well I was thinking something that's a little bit simpler and not as expensive for people to do as a group, and not have to travel across the country. Something that everyone can do. Maybe a picnic at a nice park and add some sports or activities and make it fun. Or a night out doing what ever the majority wants to do. Disneyland is great for those who can take the time off of work to fly across the country and not have to worry about there budget.

We are spread a bit thin down here both geographically and in terms of what dating sites we hold in common. How can we improve the odds a bit? I was wondering if putting local prospects who we might not be interested in on a common list of some sort might work if enough of us spend some time with it.

There's a boat going regularly to Cabbage Key from Fisherman's Wharf in Punta Gorda. It's a nice ride with enough time to get to know others in the group. The restaurant on Cabbage Key is supposedly where Jimmy Buffet wrote "Cheeseburger in Paradise." A get together for lunch and then, a walk about the Key before taking the return boat sounds good to me. I think that I remember the boat costing about $15.00, and the burgers & beer were reasonable and good. If the group wanted to continue after the trip, there are parks and picnic grounds aplenty next to the river for continued socializing.
