You don't know what the guy is all about. Personally I need to be with someone who is intelligent and can hold a decent conversation and I have been surprised by the outer package sometimes. I met a guy who was incredibly handsome and boring as hell. It depends on who they are for me, rather than whether they are wearing an Armani suit.

I agree with ya flower....
I have dated REALLY HOT men that had no personalities...very boring!
I have dated a couple nerds too...that were freaks in bed and were VERY intelligent.
I cant say that I have dated a scuzzy man....
But you really CANT help who ends up blowing your mind away with their inner beauty and their minds....I was surprised at the last man I fell in love with...TOTALLY not my type....but he was intellectually stimulating to me....kept me intrigued and interested a great deal...all the way to the end...so much so that now we are the best of friends eventhough we arent together.
So...thats my opinion

I think some guys, scuzzy or not, can be very charming and work their magic on us. we of course fall for it only to find this person is not the one for us. It's just dumb luck and we are blind to the charms of someone who makes us feel that special. OK let me revise that...we have all fallen for those types and some of us have noticed the pattern and broken it.
