I think the that guy a few posts up just went mental.. It's like 50/50 for me. I wont lie I like the better looking girls but then it comes to the personality to because I love making girls laugh and it works really well because if both a guy and girl can make the other laugh or happy its a good match! That was probably off topic but thats the way I look at it!

I think the most important thing is personality when it comes to judging a person but, in the same way u don't want someone who don't wanna dress nice every now and again right. But, whos place is it to judge people anyway, my opinion ONLY GODS JUDGEMENT COUNTS TOWARDS ME not someone elses.

If you take a good looking girl with a shitty personality and a not so good looking
girl with a good personality, I've noticed that at the end of the day you think the not so good looking girl is better looking than the good looking girl

well i think it is personality so yeah if someone said that person has a big nose your not gonna go with that person because of her big nose but yet she has a wonderful personality that is crap personality u cant love some one that looks good and the personality sucks u would break up and whats the point of that

Well, they kind of come in the same package. You looks reflect you personality, not 100% of the time, and already gives an impression on people what your like. I'm not saying you can judge a book by its cover, but if thier is a book thats smattered in blood named "Halloween Nightmare" written by Stephen king, you would know what to expect in it.

Personality is way more important to me then look, because looks will fade but personality generaly stays the same. But there does have to be some kind of physical attaction over all but its definitely not as important.

I think they are equally important if you are looking for a relationship. You have to be attracted to the person to be intimate with them. Thats just me though I guess.
If its just a strict friendship then yeah, the personality is a must.

It depends on the length of time you're talking about.
If you mean within the first 2 minutes, then most guys (I am guilty, too) notice looks, because you can't really get somebody's personality in a few minutes, whereas you can observe looks within that time.
After, say, 5 minutes, however, I tend to look for personality only.
If I see her, and she's amazing looking, but I can't stand her, after talking to her, then I won't give a second thought.
If she is average looking, I'll still give her a chance, because for me, looks are only like 15% of who she is. She has to look good enough for me to be attracted to her, but that's about it. I'm not very superficial...

I would have to say both. Looks get you interested at first but personality is what makes you look ugly or beautiful. Personality is maybe just a bit more important.
