No matter what the reason, sleeping alone after of having a bed partner is the absolute worst. There is no such empty feeling as being partner-less during the wee hours of the morning. Does anyone feel my pain?

Get a male dog.(don't want some female to think you are a perv). It is after all mans best friend. It never talks back to you in a bad way. It follows you without you even saying anything. It doesn't b*tch when you walk in the door(just wants your love). It will sleep in bed with you to keep you company. And being lonely will not be near as bad.

Im the exact opposite, I can't sleep if theres anyone or anything else in the bed, including pets.

That is what the hoover vacuum windtunnel pet vac is for. Best vac ever made for dog hairs.
Besides when the woman moves in the dog can sleep on the floor or in another room if it bothers her that much. If she likes dogs though, she will fall in love with it also.

got a couple of cats ... i'm no crazy cat lady ... but they're not all crabby about me being gone at work all day, i don't have to worry about letting them outside while i'm at work ... i come home and they're just glad to see you and they take care of themselves while you're away ... and then they snuggle at night ...
yes, having a human to hold and be held is fantastic, but i'm not going to compromise any future possibilities with someone by jumping the gun ...

I solved that dilemma by leaving his side of the bed closed.Now the empty space doesn't bother me anymore.

=) I think many if us are the same! I try to wear myself out. mist of the time it helps. It is considerably worse when you could use the friend and the cuddle bunny though.

It does suck, however there are pluses to not having someone sleeping with you. I dont get an elbow to the eye socket, to the lip or the nose. Oh and every now and then waking up to try to breath again from getting a knee to the nuts<----this I dont miss.

I second that. That's what I do too. It totally sucks not having someone to cuddle with every night.

I hated it when I was a young lad. I had a body pillow in my mid 20's.
It wouldn't put out so I got a gf. Then she took my damn pillow when we parted ways. I miss that pillow.
