i am curious at what people term this as......if a man and woman mutually agree while being in a relationship monogamously and agree to stay off dating/sex sites, and the guy puts up profiles, sends flirts to women on those kind of sites and lies about it,is that considered cheating?

On these sites - there are no truths. At least in the real world you have a fighting chance.

Is it considered cheating... Ummmm HELL YEAH!!!! IF, as you say it was mutually agreed upon by both parties. If he or she is still doing the searching, I would perceive that " He Just Isn't That Into You" and best to send him / her who goes against the agreed upon position, down the quick road to "Can't Touch This"!!!!

Absolutely! I'm in the same boat right now! He says he's had it forever and I shouldn't make a big deal of him having it- so then delete the fing thing! That I don't trust him at all- well no. You shouldn't be advertising. That's what it is- the same as putting your car in the paper and saying it's for sale- it's up for public scrutiny, up for takers from the public!!!

If they both agreed not to, then yes, it is cheating in a sense. He's obviously still testing the waters.

The question is truths in relationship. Obviously if they agreed to stay off the sites,
there is no truth, as he is lying about staying off, unless he IS staying off, in which
case they should clarify whether that means Delete or just stay off??

come on folks this site or any site, when you're in a relationship, and they are still surfing the SITE! dump their ass outside of K-Mart, and move on.
When in a relationship, I believe the profiles should be deleted, not hidden, and you leave the make believe world and enter the real world. cyberspace no longer exists. that is my opinion. if they persist.................we've got issues!
