I miss it a lot, specially since I have been single for 5 years (since 2006) . Try my hardest not to think about such basic natural need, but some days are just like......gggggrrrrr! It is what it is, that's what I end up saying every time.

Yeah I really do miss having that someone to take care of the urge, but I miss having a gf to spend time with even more. I'm just saying, as you will probably agree, a relationship just doesn't all revolve around sex.

Dunno, never had the opportunity to have sex, but I miss everything I did that was just short of the DEED. But women my age aren't interested in anything of that sort anymore and I doubt either of us would have anything that anyone would want to see. At my age everyone has rather gone to seed.

Halfback, i have to give it to u that u are a strong man to be single for 5 years. i couldn't do it. i'm at the age i want babies now. i hope u find what u are looking for. irishcountry, yes it is true there is more to the relationship. i miss the companionship of a man just not my ex. driver, u have us all beat. u must have strong will.

Why do people ask this? Has anyone honestly answered "no I don't miss sex!"?
The drive to reproduce is stronger than the urge to eat. Mammals (which last time I checked included most of the human population) would rather starve then miss out on sex.
So really do we need to ask this?
Btw I love sex and prefer to have it frequently.

honestly if u would have asked me 10 years ago i would have said i don't miss it. each there own. maybe no one would say no in fear of hulimation or being called names. i know a few people who like sex but never want to reproduce.

not everyone who has achieved this age has gone to seed - there are plenty of people well over 50 who are actually in better shape than they were when in the 30's or 40s, or who have made a decision to get into shape and to live a healthier life. As someone in the over 50 bracket and a woman, I can state that there are plenty of who are still very much interested in relationships, intimacy and sex and while there is that period of self doubt regarding body shape, a few sags here and there ~ it doesn't distract from the attraction and if both are attracted - those become unimportant.
do i miss the sex ~ no, i miss the intimacy that went the sex. i miss the laughter and the touching just to touch much more than i miss the sex itself.
